  • Patent number: 5174711
Abstract: A tilting and lifting apparatus for vehicle bodies for the ergonomically favorable preparation of batches of bodies in the series assembly of vehicles comprises a separate tilting device and a lifting device operable independently of the tilting device. The tilting device includes a swivelling frame which on the tilting side is swivellably guided on a pair of horizontally extending guide paths and on the lifting side on two vertically extending lifting pillars. The vehicle body is fastened rigidly on, and at a distance from, this swivelling frame, which is made as flat as possible. For the purpose of lifting this tilting device, two scissors-type lifting apparatus are disposed beneath the tilting device. The entire arrangement for the independent raising and lowering and the tilting of the body is mounted on a flat, rectangular platform on which it is possible to walk and which, in plan view, projects beyond the vehicle body to the extent of a gangway width.

  • Patent number: 5103468
Abstract: An electrochemical counting device in a casing, which contains counters that may be switched by a drive. The drive is connected to a switch armature, which engages a stepping wheel to shift the counters. The drive is also provided with two swivel arms, which are not mechanically connected. Each swivel arm is equipped with a spool. In order to shift the counters, both swivel arms are pivotable oppositely directed in a synchronized manner, perpendicular to the pole face of the permanent magnet. The permanent magnet is arranged between the two swivel arms. Both swivel arms are supported at the casing by a spring. The swivel arms cannot be pivoted accidentally towards each other due to impact and therefore cannot accidentally shift the counters. The electromechanical counting device may therefore be employed, where sudden impact or magnetic interference may occur.

  • Patent number: 4433234
Abstract: A mechanical preselection counter having: a counter, which has figure rollers and a zero-setting device for the figure rollers; a preselection unit having that number of preselection rollers and transmission of feed gears corresponding to the number of figure rollers, with the transmission gears being drivingly or operatively connected with the figure rollers; and with setting or adjustment elements associated with each preselection roller for setting or adjusting them, the adjustment elements being held in the rest position by spring force, being connected via a coupling device with the zero-setting device of the counter, and being operable with actuating elements. The preselection unit is provided with keying devices, each of which has at least two axially protruding noses which project through openings in the associated transmission gear, are respectively associated with a recess on the preselection rollers, and are loaded or biased by a releasing rack toward the preselection rollers.

  • Patent number: 4264806
Abstract: Electromechanical pulse counter with a housing, wherein a current carrying spool and coil means is secured, whereby the spool and coil means surround an iron core, an air gap defined between the iron core and an armature anchor, preferably in the form of a plate-like armature anchor, responsive to the magnetic field of the spool and coil means. The armature anchor is movably mounted in the housing, and actuates an escapement anchor, having a control fork which, stepwise, by the intervention of a gear drive, rotates at least one indicator wheel having indicator numbers on its circumference. The iron core is positively held at the housing part which comprises a support for the armature anchor, and the iron core is journalled so as to be movable with respect to the spool and coil means.
