Abstract: A damage-free mountable and removable arresting device for a foil or a similar thin covering material for making temporary or permanent coverings, encasings, spacial partitions and the like, comprising a plurality of self-supporting longitudinal clamping bars, each formed with at least one groove extending in a direction of a longitudinal axis thereof. An elastic band is pressed into the grooves of the clamping bars and one or more connection clamping elements are inserted into the ends of the grooves for operatively connecting the plurality of clamping bars.
