Abstract: Various embodiments of a two-stage low noise amplifier (LNA) having a gain that can be adjusted without varying input its impedance are disclosed. For example, in an illustrative embodiment, an exemplary low noise amplifier can include an input stage that includes a first transistor, and an output stage that includes a second transistor. The output of the input stage can have an optional stabilizing network. The output stage is coupled to the input stage and employs a shunt-feedback configuration.
