Patent number: 11185881Abstract: A dehumidification forward passage is provided for guiding air withdrawn from a treating chamber as dehumidification-subject air A? to an adsorption area of an adsorption/desorption type dehumidifying device. A dehumidification return passage is provided for guiding air A? past through the adsorption area to the treating chamber. A desorption heat pump is provided for heating desorbing air HA to be flown through a desorption area of adsorption/desorption type dehumidifying device, with utilizing, as a heat sink, dehumidified air A? which has flown through the adsorption area and sent to the dehumidification return passage. There is provided a sensible-heat heat exchanger configured to cool the dehumidification-subject air A? present in the dehumidification forward passage through a heat exchange reaction with dehumidified air A? present in the dehumidification return passage which has been cooled via absorption of its heat by the desorption heat pump.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2017Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignees: Taikisha Ltd., Mayekawa Mfg. Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kozo Ishida, Fujio Komatsu, Hirokazu Yoneda

Publication number: 20180299146Abstract: A dehumidifying method includes: a dehumidifying step of causing an adsorption surface of a desiccant wheel to adsorb water vapor in the supply air; a cooling step of cooling the supply air dehumidified in the dehumidifying step with an air cooler constituting a part of a heat pump device; a first temperature increasing step of increasing a temperature of the supply air cooled in the cooling step with a temperature increasing medium to reduce a relative humidity of the supply air; a supplying step of supplying an air conditioning chamber with the supply air having a reduced relative humidity; a second temperature increasing step of increasing a temperature of the regeneration air with an air heater constituting a part of the heat pump device to reduce a relative humidity of the regeneration air; and a desorbing step of desorbing the water vapor adsorbed on the adsorption surface from the adsorption surface with the heated regeneration air.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2016Publication date: October 18, 2018Applicant: MAYEKAWA MFG. Patent number: 5348080Abstract: A latent heat storage apparatus is provided and a latent heat storage solution therefor stores and retrieves a cool heat substantially in or from a latent heat thereof necessary for air conditioning, cooling, refrigerating, and so forth. The latent heat storage apparatus has an aqueous solution of a plurality of inorganic salts as a latent heat storage solution in a heat storage tank, formed to retrieve a cold heat from a stored latent heat, the latent heat storage apparatus. The latent heat storage solution is formed of (N-1) kinds of inorganic salts in at least an N-component aqueous solution where N.gtoreq.3. The latent heat storage solution stores the cold heat as the latent heat thereof. The cold heat is retrievable from the stored latent heat at a desired temperature almost invariably within a range higher than the N-component eutectic point and lower than any one of binary eutectic points of salts with water.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 1991Date of Patent: September 20, 1994Assignees: Tokyo Electric Power Company, Maekawa Mfg.
