    Abstract: The present invention provides a two-part hair cosmetic material having a reduced irritating smell due to ammonia. Specifically, the present invention relates to a two-part hair cosmetic material comprising a first agent containing an alkali agent and a second agent containing an oxidizing agent, wherein the first agent contains the following ingredients: (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having a polyoxyethylene chain length of 50 or more, (B) a higher alcohol, and (C) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having a polyoxyethylene chain length shorter than the polyoxyethylene chain length of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether (A), and the content of a higher alcohol having 20 or more carbon atoms in the higher alcohol (B) is 1.0% by weight or less based on the weight of the first agent.
