Abstract: To provide a hand dryer that is capable of reducing the amount of noise without reducing the drying performance, and is capable of preventing foreign substances from entering from an air outlet thereof. A hand dryer is configured to blow water off hands with airflow emitted from nozzles. The hand dryer includes a hand insertion section that is open toward the outside, and the nozzles disposed on wall surfaces of the hand insertion section. A nozzle hole at the distal end of each of the nozzles is a wave-shaped slit.
