    Abstract: In an electric control method and apparatus for an air conditioner, a digital computer is utilized to calculate the quantity of heat necessary for adjusting and maintaining the actual temperature in a compartment to a desired value. The computer is also programmed to calculate the quantity of air flow in accordance with the actual ambient temperature outside the compartment and to calculate the temperature of air flow in relation to the calculated quantity of air flow necessary for discharging the calculated quantity of heat into the compartment.
