  • Patent number: 10124992
Abstract: An endless handrail manufacturing method includes: a first step of cutting the dorsal part on one end side and the dorsal part on the other end side of a belt-like molded product to expose a tension member from the end portions; a second step of heating the product on the one end side, then removing the softened resin member, and then exposing a canvas from the end portion; a third step of heating the product with a heating jig to dent the abdominal part; a fourth step of applying an adhesive to the terminal on the one end side or the terminal on the other end side of the product, then fitting the former terminal to the latter terminal of the product; and a fifth step of supplementing a resin to the fitting portion, then hot pressing the fitting portion to fusion-bond the terminals.

  • Patent number: 5012405
Abstract: In a file management system a plurality of information processing devices are provided with files of tree structure. The information processing devices are linked through a communication line and dispersed files are utilized by a plurality of users in common. Each of the users can construct his own file without having any influence on the others. A table is provided including a column indicating the relation of links for the case where an arbitrary branch of a tree structure, included within at least one information processing device, is linked with a part of files included within another information device and a column specifying groups, for which the relation of links is valid. Linking is only permitted for access demands from members belonging to the group for which the relation of links is indicated as valid, to the part of the files of the other information processing device.

  • Patent number: 4987531
Abstract: In order to be able to arrange a series of files, which are in a reference relationship, on an arbitrary path, depending on the structure of the file system, a path specifying a particular file, which is in the reference relationship, is specified by a position relative to an object program file in a file system including a program, which is in course of execution, depending on the program, which is in course of execution.

  • Patent number: 4829294
Abstract: In a document processing method using a multiwindow including a display device having a display screen on which a plurality of windows are established, a virtual screen memory in which a plurality of virtual screens each corresponding to programs are generated to output results of data processing by programs, a memory unit for storing therein a window control table defining corresponding relationships between the virtual screens and the windows, and a control device for referencing the window control table and for outputting contents of each virtual screen in a window associated with the virtual screen on the display screen, copy source attribute data including an identifier of a second window established in the display screen and data defining a second partial region in the second window is memorized in correspondence with a first partial region on the vertical screen so that, in response to a command inputted by an operator while painting to the first partial region displayed in the first window, the displa

  • Patent number: 4769636
Abstract: In a multi-window system for setting a plurality of windows on the screen for independent display in each window, a novel display control method is disclosed in which a visible region of a given window is determined from the positions and overlapped relations between the windows on the display screen, and display data is selectively applied to the visible region. The visible region is checked for crossing between an object window and another window making up a reference window on the screen, and if they cross each other, the object window is divided into subregions, while the subregion not overlapped with the reference window is regarded as a new object region, which is collated with another reference window and subdivided. This process of collation and division is repeated. A display output is thus applied sequentially to the subregions which are found to be a visible region.

  • Patent number: 4486828
Abstract: A data processing system includes a host unit and terminal equipment connected thereto. Different terminal equipment is identified on the basis of a program provided on the side of the host unit and on the basis of data transaction with the hardware of the terminals. To this end, a microprogram is transferred from the host computer to the terminals, while the result of execution of the microprogram determined on the basis of the types of the terminals and components thereof is transferred to the host computer from the terminal. In this way, confidential security is assured between the host and the terminals.
