  • Publication number: 20140299440
Abstract: A friction device has a center axis (A) and a mid plane (P) perpendicular to the center axis (A). The friction device comprises first and second shields coaxial to the center axis (A) and pieced together to form a radially emerging peripheral slot between internal faces thereof, first and second friction linings fixed to external faces of the first and second shields, first connecting torques made in one piece with the first shield and having a circumferential orientation, second connecting torques made in one piece with the second shield and having a circumferential orientation, and a progressiveness element disposed in the peripheral slot and pressed between the internal faces of the first and second shields. The second connecting torques are inclined with respect to a plane of the second shield towards the mid plane (P) of the friction disc. The progressiveness element at least partly comprises an addition silicone.

  • Patent number: 7992697
Abstract: The invention relates to a friction device for a clutch, particularly of a motor vehicle. The inventive friction device comprises first and second axially-spaced coaxial friction lining members which are defined by opposing friction faces. The device also comprises means for linking the two friction lining members which are solidly connected to one another. The first friction lining member is essentially ring shaped. The aforementioned linking means comprise linking tongue elements which are each equipped with a first end for solidly connecting to an inner edge of the first friction lining member and a second end for solidly connecting to the second friction lining member. Moreover, a deviation angle is provided between said first and second connecting ends, which can vary according to the axial spacing of the two friction lining member.

  • Patent number: 7607525
Abstract: This device (10) comprises first (24A) and second (24B) friction lining members, substantially annular and coaxial, separated axially and delimited by opposing friction faces. The first friction lining member (24A) comprises a radially external part (32A) comprising a friction lining (26A), a radially internal part (30A) intended to be fixed to the second friction lining member (24B), and elastic connecting tongues (35A) each provided with a first end (36A) for connection to the radially external part (32A) and a second end (38A) for connection to the radially internal part (30A), the first (36A) and second (38A) connecting ends having an angular offset between them that is variable according to the axial separation of the two friction lining members (24A, 24B).

  • Patent number: 6644385
Abstract: A heat exchanger has a fluid chamber with a peripheral foot, as well as a collector plate with an edge delimiting a groove for a gasket and the peripheral foot. The gasket is formed from a bead of a polymerizable material which is deposited, at a chosen location, on the bottom of the groove, and then polymerized before being compressed by the peripheral foot of the fluid chamber.
