Patent number: 12013066Abstract: Provided herein is a method for sterile fluid transfer. A first array of conduits may be disposed in a first compartment having a planar face with an array of cavities, each containing a cannular protrusion fluidly connected to a conduit. A second array of conduits may be disposed in a second compartment having its own planar face with an array of surface cannular protrusions, each fluidly connected to a conduit in the second array. The method may include sterilizing the lumens of each conduit-protrusion pair; snugly juxtaposing the two planar faces to form an array of steam-tight chambers; introducing a sterilizing gas into the chambers; expelling the sterilizing gas from the chambers; moving each cannular protrusion towards its facing surface protrusion to reversibly form a fluid connection therebetween, while the chamber remains externally sealed, and transferring a fluid across at least one fluidic connection.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2023Date of Patent: June 18, 2024Assignee: Trisk Bio Ltd.Inventors: Adam Luke Hiles, Gergo Bohner, Ryan Olf, Samuel Isidor Jones, Thomas Felix Martin Cummings, Gabor Pap, Spencer Ryan Wilson, Aaron Garden Cantrell, Michael Anthony Disimoni Stone, Matthew Edwin Page

Patent number: 10104745Abstract: A power handling system of a digitally addressable lighting interface (DALI) system controls switches connected with a bus of the DALI system that powers lower power light sources. A power supply circuit receives energy conducted on the bus to the lower power light sources and conducts at least part of the energy to a capacitor. Electric energy is stored in the capacitor until the capacitor stores at least a designated threshold of input voltage of a controller. The capacitor powers the controller to close one or more switches using at least some of the stored electric energy.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2016Date of Patent: October 16, 2018Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Lajos Csibi, Jeno Balazs, Richard Boros, Tamas Daranyi, Gabor Pap

Patent number: 9857321Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for determining the combustion value of a fuel. The device (1) comprises a fuel inlet (40) for supplying the fuel to be measured to the device (1). A gas inlet (50) is provided for supplying an oxygen-containing gas to the device (1). The device (1) further comprises a combustion unit connected to the fuel inlet (40) and the gas inlet (50), which combustion unit is provided with a combustion chamber (7) for combusting the fuel to be measured therein. A gas outlet (8) connected to the combustion chamber (7) makes it possible to discharge the combusted gas. The device (1) according to the invention comprises a flow measurement unit (14), preferably of the Coriolis type, disposed between the fuel inlet (40) and the combustion chamber (7).Type: GrantFiled: December 24, 2013Date of Patent: January 2, 2018Assignee: BERKIN B.V.Inventors: Joost Conrad Lötters, Theodorus Simon Josef Lammerink, Remco John Wiegerink, Albertus Johannes Mouris, Marco Gábor Pap, Meint Jelle De Boer, Remco Gerardus Petrus Sanders

Patent number: 9807846Abstract: Single channel digital addressable lighting interface (DALI) systems can include a dedicated external power supply that operates in a constant voltage/constant current mode to meet requirements of the DALI bus. A lighting controller is powered from the DALI bus. In one embodiment of the inventive subject matter, a lighting system is provided that includes two or more control (e.g., DALI) buses and a multichannel power supply that can be used for powering a controller of the system with constant voltage and to power separate control buses with separate and constant current. In order to protect the controller and buses from overloads caused by miswiring or other erroneous conditions, a protection circuit assembly is provided.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2015Date of Patent: October 31, 2017Assignee: GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANYInventors: Tamás Darányi, Lajos Csibi, Gábor Pap
