  • Publication number: 20240123735
Abstract: Reprocessing of a replaceable supply component may include receiving from an encoding device and using an interface communicatively coupled to the encoding device, a request blob to reprocess a replaceable supply component. The method may include in response to cryptographically verifying the request blob, extracting from the request blob, a supply identifier and raw supply data. The method further includes using the supply identifier and raw supply data, generating a reprocess structure to append or amend original manufacturing data for the replaceable supply component, and providing a response blob to the encoding device, to designate the replaceable supply component as a reprocessed supply component.

  • Publication number: 20240118906
Abstract: An example method comprising requesting authorization to reprocess a replaceable supply component using an interface and original manufacturing data stored in memory of the replaceable supply component. The method further comprises, in response to the request, receiving configuration data using the interface, and appending the original manufacturing data with the configuration data to designate the replaceable supply component as reprocessed, wherein the configuration data is to cause reconfiguration of an end-user device in response to attachment of the replaceable supply component to the end-user device and execution by the end-user device.

  • Publication number: 20240111905
Abstract: Generating a request for reprocessing of a replaceable supply component may include sending to a non-volatile memory of a replaceable supply component, a request for information about the replaceable supply component. The method may include receiving from the replaceable supply component, the supply component information, wherein the supply component information includes data to be decrypted by an exchange service. • Patent number: 8969239
Abstract: A method of hydroprocessing a heavy hydrocarbon feedstock using a hydroprocessing catalyst having specific properties making it effective in the hydroconversion of at least a portion of the heavy hydrocarbon feedstock to lighter hydrocarbons. The hydroprocessing catalyst comprises a Group VIB metal component (e.g., Cr, Mo, and W), a Group VIII metal component (e.g., Ni and Co) and, optionally, a potassium metal component that are supported on a support material comprising alumina. The alumina has novel physical properties that, in combination with the catalytic components, provide for the hydroprocessing catalyst. The hydroprocessing catalyst is particularly effective in the conversion of the heavy hydrocarbon feedstock. The alumina is characterized as having a high pore volume and a high surface area with a large proportion of the pore volume being present in the pores within a narrow pore diameter distribution about a narrowly defined range of median pore diameters.

  • Patent number: 8794847
Abstract: A bearing assembly includes an outer ring having an inner circumferential surface and a generally annular recess extending radially outwardly from the inner surface. An inner ring is disposed at least partially within the outer ring so as to be rotatable about a central axis, the inner ring having an outer circumferential surface spaced radially inwardly from the outer ring inner surface and at least one integral shoulder extending radially outwardly from the outer surface so as to be disposed at least partially within the outer ring recess. The shoulder is engageable with the outer ring when the inner ring is subjected to an axial force so as to substantially prevent axial displacement of the inner ring relative to the outer ring. Preferably, a plurality of rolling elements are disposed between and rotatably couple the inner and outer rings.
