Abstract: Communication method for an aircraft (1) comprising the steps of: installing a security system (100 or IDDS) in a non-pressurized zone (2) of the aircraft (1), said security system (100) comprising a GPS localization device (101) with satellite link and an autonomous battery (102);—detecting in the GPS localization device (101) at least one position (A) of the aircraft;—sending the position (A) to a control station (200) interconnected with the satellite link; said steps of detecting and sending the position (A) being performed if an anomaly is detected.

Abstract: A method for accessing a database through SMS or MMS type messages, wherein a terminal sends an SMS or MMS type request message to access a database. A processing unit, which is operationally connected to the database, receives and processes the request message and then sends an SMS or MMS type reply message to the terminal. Before the reply is sent, the method provides for verifying whether the request message includes one or more characteristic elements which, whether taken individually or as a combination, identify a previous reply message stored in a memory area of the processing unit.

Abstract: A data processing unit is described which comprises a reception module for receiving request messages sent by a user terminal over a telephone network, a decoder module, which communicates with said reception module and which is adapted to extract a text from a received request message, and a reply module for generating a reply message. The invention is characterized in that a reply message is generated which contains a text in at least one language defined on the basis of one or more features associated with said request message.

Abstract: An electronic management and check system is described, wherein a central system comprises a data storage system adapted to electronically store item codes used for identifying an item in an unambiguous way, as well as data processing means adapted to interrogate said data storage system and to interface with external communication systems. The invention is characterized in that said data storage system comprises memory areas containing position codes adapted to identify in an unambiguous way a position of said item, and in that said data processing means are adapted to receive a data string being organized in such a way as to separately identify an item code and a position code as well as to perform a comparison between the codes contained in said data string and the codes contained in said storage system.

Abstract: A system is described, and the corresponding method, for the management of emergency situations by means of a mobile terminal (1) with an electronic, board (2), apt to implement access functions to a mobile phone network and comprising memory areas (23), containing personal data of the owner of said electronic board (2). The invention consist in that said electronic board (2) shows aid functions which make it at least partially operative when said mobile terminal operates in an emergency state.
