  • Publication number: 20210302982
Abstract: A mobile object control device includes a first controller that recognizes a surrounding situation of a mobile object based on an output of a detection device having a space around the mobile object as a detection range and generates a first movement plan for the mobile object in a first period based on the recognized surrounding situation of the mobile object, and a second controller that generates a second movement plan for the mobile object in a second period shorter than the first period, and when the second controller generates label data in which label information indicating different values depending on at least the presence or absence of a moving object is imparted to each of division elements obtained by dividing the space around the mobile object into a finite number, and generates the second movement plan based on the label data.

  • Publication number: 20210192344
Abstract: A control apparatus for performing predetermined control for a predetermined system using reinforcement learning detects an event in a life cycle of the predetermined system and, in response to the detection of the event, set an exploration parameter specified in accordance with the detected event as a value for adjusting a ratio of exploration in the reinforcement learning. The control apparatus executes the predetermined control using the reinforcement learning in accordance with the set exploration parameter. When a first event is detected, the control apparatus sets the exploration parameter so that makes the ratio of the exploration set during a first period after the first event is smaller than the ratio of the exploration set during a second period before the first event is detected.

  • Publication number: 20210023905
Abstract: A damper control system includes a damper control unit which controls a property of a damper used in a suspension of a vehicle; and a processing unit which accepts feedback data pertaining to behavior of the vehicle measured in the vehicle, applies computational processing specified by executing a machine learning algorithm to the feedback data, and outputs a control variable obtained from the computational processing to the damper control unit. The damper control unit controls the property of the damper on the basis of a control variable used internally within the damper control unit, and replaces the control variable used internally with a new control variable. The new control variable is the control variable output by the processing unit.

  • Publication number: 20200291280
Abstract: A sealing member according to the present invention is a sealing member against a synthetic oil containing an ester-type additive, and includes 95.0% by mass or more and 99.5% by mass or less of a para-phenylen diisocyariate-based polyurethane and 0.5% by mass or more and 5% by mass or less of a same compound as the ester-based additive. The sealing member according to the present invention has a smaller friction coefficient and more excellent deformability than conventional sealing members and that can inhibit swelling caused by a synthetic oil.

  • Patent number: 9126467
Abstract: A variable damping force member is used in a vehicle suspension device and the damping force of which can be changed. The variable damping force member is equipped with a piston which is slidably housed in a cylinder filled with a fluid and which divides the cylinder into a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber, and has fluid passages connecting the first and second fluid passages. A valve member is provided in the piston for blocking the fluid passages, and for opening the fluid passages when the piston slides. A piezoelectric body is connected to the valve member, and pushes the valve member towards the fluid passages when voltage is applied. A bellows is arranged on the valve member so as to seal the piezoelectric body from the fluid, and the bellows biases the piston in the direction in which the piezoelectric body is constricted.
