    Abstract: An automatic charging apparatus for a furnace, including: a hopper provided with an inlet and an outlet opening; a buffer bin in which a buffer channel is provided, one end of the buffer channel including a discharge port communicating with the outlet opening, the other end being in communication with a feeding inlet of the furnace; a pushing mechanism configured to push feedstock in the buffer channel sequentially into the feeding inlet of the furnace, the pushing mechanism including a drive and a pushing element, the drive driving the pushing element to perform a reciprocating movement in the buffer channel so the feedstock in the buffer channel is sequentially pushed into the feeding inlet via the reciprocating movement of the pushing element. The solution can implement automatic charging of feedstock in the furnace, reduce labor intensity of operators, and realize accurate control of charging amount of the feedstock.

    Abstract: A double-acting switch valve includes a mounting bracket and two mutually backup sealing assemblies disposed on the mounting bracket, each of the two sealing assemblies including a carbon rod and a carbon rod moving assembly, the carbon rod moving assembly being configured to translate, and elevate or lower the carbon rod so as to block or open a metal liquid channel between two metal liquid furnaces. Two sealing assemblies which are mutually replaceable, where when the carbon rod on one of the sealing assemblies is worn down, the other sealing assembly may take its place to block the metal liquid outlet again via the carbon rod; and then the worn-down carbon rod is renewed. This design eliminates the time taken for replacing the carbon rod and can reduce the amount of the metal liquid discharged via the metal liquid outlet during replacement of the carbon rod.

The wire billet butt-welding method comprises: S1: preparing a stock, S2: rotating a butt-welding stock receiver to a stock receiving position, and feeding a first coil of wire billet to a stock receiving rod of the butt-welding stock receiver; S3: welding the first coil of wire billet and the second coil of wire billet on a rotary plate at the butt-welding position end-to-head; S4: rotating the butt-welding stock receiver and the second coil of wire billet to the stock receiving position; S5: rotating the stock receiving rod to rotate to tighten the wire billet between the first coil of wire billet and the second coil of wire billet; and S6: repeating steps S3 to S5 to complete butt-welding operations on the 3rd to nth coils of wire billet sequentially.
