Abstract: A reader is utilized to detect motion of a user's fingers when a user mimics a typing motion. The system can be used to define various key press states for particular finger positions and then monitor the motion of fingers to detect when a key state is entered. The system can then provide the detected key state as input to a system expecting the data input.

Abstract: Determining the value of an item or event at a point in time or over a targeted period of time based on the values of the item over a past era. During the past era, data is obtained to represent the changes to the value during the era. This data is iteratively processed by: smoothing the curve, subtracting the smooth curve from the original curve to obtain a next level curve and repeating the process. After several iterations, a set of smoothed out curves are obtain and the projected time-wise to encompass the targeted time or period of time. Once projected, the curves are then combined together and the value at the targeted time or period of time can then be ascertained.

In one embodiment, a method includes generating a product profile of a content-based product through applying any number of value data assigned by a user to a set of attributes embodying possible reasons as to why the user reacts to the content-based product, generating a user profile of a user through applying a group of value data assigned by the user to a content-based product sharing the set of attributes and recommending a different content-based product to the user when a different product profile of the different content-based product matches with the user profile beyond a threshold value. The method may include recommending the different content-based product to a different user when a different user profile of the different user matches with the user profile of the user who has subscribed to the different content-based product.
