  • Patent number: 7182539
Abstract: A sliding piston opening means enclosed within an elongated container to release the fluid sealed within the elongated container by squeezing the elongated container at or near the sliding piston. After the sliding piston opening means is opened, the fluid sealed within the elongated container is released for application. Before the content of the container is depleted, the sliding piston opening means is used to re-close the opening thereby re-sealing the fluid remaining within the container.

  • Patent number: 7056049
Abstract: A shock resistant applicator for non-evaporative liquid comprises an elongated tubular housing sealed on one end enclosing a first liquid near the sealed end separated from a second liquid by a viscous substance. The elongated tubular housing has an opening mechanism near the sealed end to release the enclosed liquids through the open end of the elongated tubular housing. A shock resistant plug is disposed near the open end of the elongated tubular housing and defines a small through hole from the liquid to the open end of the elongated tubular housing. The shock resistant plug will prevent the none-evaporative second liquid from being unintentionally released from the elongated tubular housing by dramatically increasing the surface tension of the second liquid near the open end of the elongated tubular housing.

  • Publication number: 20060093424
Abstract: A compact disposable single-dose applicator that may be used to apply one or more substances such as adhesives and dental compounds. The multi-chamber applicator comprises of a container, a compression means, and an applicator. The container comprises one or more chambers with a passage positioned between the chambers that will accept an applicator inserted into the passage. Each chamber has one or more fluid flow paths leading from the chamber to the passage. The compression means comprises of one or more elongated protrusions that are connected at their base to a compression plate. As the compression means is urged into the chambers, the substances in the chambers will be forced through the fluid flow path into the passage and out through an applicator inserted in the passage. The applicator also functions as an opening means to enable the shipment and storage of the multi-chamber applicator in a sealed state and enable opening of the multi-chamber applicator for access to its contents.

  • Publication number: 20060086228
Abstract: The tube cutting process and device comprises of a cutting mechanism, an ejecting mechanism, and a stacking mechanism. An extruded plastic tube is fed after the extrusion process to the cutting mechanism to be cut into short sections. The ejecting mechanism then ejects the short sections in a controlled manner into a stacking mechanism. The stacking mechanism then stacks the short sections into an organized pile wherein the short sections are all in the same orientation and direction.

  • Publication number: 20060080847
Abstract: The line marking means comprises of a channel with an ink feeding system and an overflow control system in fluid connection with the channel which also functions as the ink applicator. The ink feeding system comprises of a reservoir that contains an ink to be delivered into the channel through one or more tubes. A flow control mechanism may be disposed between the reservoir and the channel to control the rate of delivery of the ink into the channel. The overflow control system comprises of one or more tubes that will remove the excess amount of ink from the channel and redeposit the excess ink back into the reservoir or the excess ink may be discarded. If the flow control mechanism has the capability to accurately control the rate of delivery of the ink into the channel, the overflow control system will not be necessary.
