Abstract: The multifunction LED tail-light is illuminated by multi colored light emitting diodes (LED). The taillight is divided into seamless sections; there are no visible partition to indicate where one section starts and the other section ends. Each section of the light will react to specific events (eg. Indicator turns on) by emitting a specific color. There will be a section that reacts when the break is applied, when the park light is turned on, when the indicator and/or hazard lights are turned on and when the vehicle is in reverse.

Abstract: An improved wheel rim expanding tooling apparatus includes an inboard and an outboard wheel rim expanding tooling assembly. The inboard wheel rim expanding tooling assembly includes a plurality of segmented inboard press members each including a pair of side surfaces. The side surfaces include a first outer section and a second inner section. The first outer section extends radially inwardly a first radial distance and the second inner section extends radially inwardly a second radial distance which is greater than the first radial distance. The first outer section of the inboard press members is provided with a generally curved surface profile which extends across at least a portion of an axial width thereof. The outboard wheel rim expanding tooling assembly includes a plurality of segmented outboard press members each including a pair of side surfaces. The side surfaces include a first outer section and a second inner section.

Abstract: A one piece commercial highway vehicle wheel cast from a light weight metal in mold having a core insert which forms a circumferential lightener recess in the outboard end of the wheel.

Abstract: Improved gray iron compositions comprise at least about 90 weight % iron, at least about 3.40 weight % carbon, from about 1 to 2.5 weight % silicon, from about 0.4 to 1.0 weight % manganese, and from about 0.02 to 0.07 weight % tin. Preferably, the gray iron compositions of the invention also include from about 0.2 to about 0.5 weight % chromium, and may further preferably include from about 0.25 to 0.75% molybdenum and/or from about 0.3 to 1.0% copper, and may optionally also include small amounts (less than about 1%) of such elements as titanium or vanadium, as examples. The gray iron compositions which may advantageously be used in the manufacture of vehicle brake components, especially the braking surfaces of vehicle brake drums or brake rotors.
