Abstract: There is a commercial wiring system and method for wiring, which is designed to increase the speed of installation of wiring devices. In one embodiment of the invention there is a bracket which is designed to receive an adapted wiring box. This bracket has tabs for fixing to a wiring box to form an electrical box. The bracket can be coupled to another bracket that is adjustable in length and includes at least two legs, with a first leg being slidable in position in relation to a second track. A first set of tracks in the first assembly is designed to receive the second set of tracks in the second assembly in a telescoping or nested manner. The adjustable electrical box assembly can include a box section, a mounting plate and a mud ring or plaster ring.

Abstract: A cover fitting for connecting more than one raceway includes an L-shaped top having first and second curved grooves extending along the inner surface of the top and a plurality of hooks extending outwardly from the inner surface for engaging a portion of each raceway base. The cover fitting further includes first and second opposing sides extending from the inner surface of the top. The cover fitting can be used with a fitting base received in first and second grooves for situations requiring a specific bend radius, or in applications without a fitting base, where there are no bend radius requirements.

Abstract: An adapter for connecting two wiring ducts on respective opposite sides of a suspended ceiling includes a back portion which has an opening at one end and upstream of the reference plane for inserting a first wiring duct. The other wiring duct can be butt-jointed to its other end. A cover portion at least partly covers the back portion, which has a reference plane which in use is level with the lower face of the suspended ceiling. Applications include conveying electrical cables or conductors through a suspended ceiling.
