  • Patent number: 5813089
Abstract: An improved power-driven brush assembly is disclosed, useful for cleaning the interior surfaces of ducts, pipes, and other similar structures. The apparatus comprises a cable having a brush at one end, and a motor at the other end for spinning the cable and the brush. A casing surrounds the cable, allowing a fluid to be injected through the casing to the brush. A fluid directing assembly at the end of the casing near the brush allows fluid to the be injected into the duct in a desired direction, to flush particulate matter from the vicinity of the brush.

  • Patent number: 5588985
Abstract: A method is disclosed for cleaning HVAC ductwork, including the steps of transporting first and second modular filter assemblies to a site, connecting them in sealed fluid communication with one another and to the ductwork, drawing fluid through the filtration system from the HVAC ductwork, exhausting filtered fluid from the filtration system and tilting the housing so that any stairs present at the site bear against a bearing surface of an external conveyance assembly as the modules are transported up and down stairs.

  • Patent number: 4471495
Abstract: A metal mesh protective glove extending continuously around the user's hand and fingers. A continuous cuff extends around the circumference of the glove near the user's wrist and encloses a strap which is free to slide in and is removable from the cuff. The opposite ends of the strap extend from an opening in the cuff; and the strap includes means to secure its ends to each other to form a band of varying length so that the strap and cuff may be tightened about the wearer's wrist with minimum folding or drooping of the glove mesh.
