  • Publication number: 20070199834
Abstract: A portable medication dispenser comprising: a receptacle and a housing; said receptacle consisting of a cylinder having a first end and a second end, a handle extending from said first end, a series of cavities along the length of the cylinder, and an external means to attach the cylinder along the periphery of its' axis at its' first end, its' second end, and between cavities to said housing; said housing consisting of a tube of greater diameter than said receptacle with an open first end and a closed second end, at its' first end, an internal means to attach to said receptacle, and extending from the exterior of said tube a means to attach said portable medication dispenser to other objects.

  • Patent number: 6247217
Abstract: A puller jaw positioning cam regulates the relative inclination of puller jaws on a puller assembly, typical to slide hammers. The cam has a first end and a second end. Extending through the cam from the first end to the second end is an attachment means for operating the cam about the shaft of a puller assembly. The first end of the cam provides a series of guide elements which communicate with the puller jaws. Rotation of the cam causes the inclination of the puller jaws to change relative to the shaft and each other.

  • Patent number: 6167786
Abstract: A socket wrench driven adjustable jaw crow foot wrench is an assembly of four primary components: a chassis; a carriage; a ratchet; and a pawl. The chassis has a stationary jaw at a first end, a track extending from the first end to a second end of the chassis; and a cavity which opens to the track and opposing sides of the chassis. In a preferred embodiment of the tool, a female receiver for a socket wrench is provided on an end of the tool opposite the track. The carriage bears a jaw designed to mate to the stationary jaw of the chassis. The carriage is provided with a rack. Said carriage is designed to travel in the track provided on the chassis. The ratchet is provided with a female socket wrench receiver, and is located in the cavity provided in the chassis. The ratchet is juxtapositioned to communicate with the rack on the carriage. The pawl is located in the cavity provided in the chassis and juxtapositioned to communicate with the ratchet.

  • Patent number: 5816120
Abstract: A slip joint adjustable jaw pry tool is a plier configured tool which has opposing jaws facing outboard. There are two levers, a first and a second lever, each of which include a jaw portion and a handle portion. There is a channel with intersecting arcuate grooves provided on the first lever, between the handle and jaw. The second lever is provided with a pivot center point and an arcuate protuberance concentric to the pivot center point, between the handle and jaw. The levers extend substantially parallel to each other. The range of dimensional movement of the jaws, relative to each other, is determined by adjusting the location of the pivot center point of the second lever, in the channel of the first lever. This is accomplished by disengaging the arcuate protuberance of the second lever, from a given arcuate groove of the first lever, moving the pivot center point of the second lever along the channel of the first lever, and engaging the arcuate protuberance in a different arcuate groove.

  • Patent number: 5782276
Abstract: A horizontal oil filter discharge control tool is a vessel with an open end, configured to suspend wedged between a loosened oil filter and filter mounting fixture, while a filter drains. The vessel may have two open ends, creating a funnel, or it may have an open end and a closed end. The rim of an open end may be concave in at least one plane. A concavity of one plane is designed to recieve filter diameters within a given set of parameters, while additional concavities may be provided to recieve filter diameters within a different given set of parameters. Blades extending along the interior surface on one surface in each plane and beyond the rim of the vessel, provide a structure from which the vessel is suspended. In operation, the vessel is held beneath a filter prior to rotating and loosening the filter. On rotating the filter, the blades of the vessel are slid between the filter and its' fixture. The filter is then hand tightened, wedging the vessel, by the blades. The filter is left to drain.

  • Patent number: 5775252
Abstract: A disk shaped element has a plurality of tactile sensed position indicators arranged along its' circumference. Each position indicator consists of a straight bar terminated at one end with a rod having a diameter greater than the thickness of the corresponding bar. Each bar extends outwardly from the circumference of the disk, and each rod extends outwardly from the circumference a distance greater than the corresponding bar. Each position indicator on the dial is oriented analogous to an hour hand position on a clock, with the rod providing a reference for the base of the hand.
