  • Publication number: 20020133447
Abstract: A method and system for formulating a stock portfolio employs weighting preset parameters that are applied to a multiplicity of stocks received from a database. The weighted parameters are applied to each stock and a Rating is generated for each of the stocks in the database. The parameters and Rating is used to create a Portfolio of a number of stocks. Selected stocks are purchased if they meet the limits set by selected weighted parameters. When a limit associated with the purchase price is reached for one of the Portfolio stocks, the stock is sold and another stock that meets the criteria for a purchase is added to the Portfolio.

  • Patent number: 4753189
Abstract: A medicine bottle unit having a closure for indicating dosage and other information which changes automatically as the closure is rotated on the bottle of the unit. The closure includes an outer cap and an inner member within the cap. The cap and inner member have cooperable indicia thereon. The inner member moves with the cap as the cap is rotated in one direction on the bottle. However, the cap moves relative to the bottle and the inner member when the cap is rotated in the opposite direction on the bottle, thus assuring a change in the information represented by the indicia on the cap and the indicator on the inner member, or by indicia on the inner member visible through a hole in the cap. Several embodiments of medicine bottle unit are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4330072
Abstract: A dispenser for flowable material, such as liquids or powder, having a container provided with a corrugated sidewall which allows the container to collapse when a downward force is exerted on the upper part thereof. The container has a tubular extension or spout projecting laterally from the upper part thereof and an upper surface free of structure to allow the palm or other part of the hand to readily engage the upper surface and to exert a downward force thereon. The force on the container causes material therein to travel upwardly through an inner tube and laterally through the spout to an outlet at the outer end of the spout. In one embodiment of the dispenser, the upper part of the container has a top opening therethrough to allow filling of the container and a cap removably closes the opening, the cap having a flat or slightly curved upper surface and being press-fitted or threaded onto the upper part to close the opening.

  • Patent number: 4146154
Abstract: A dispenser for liquids such as liquid soap or the like, wherein a container having a collapsible sidewall is coupled to a dispensing member mounted on the upper open end of the container. A tube places the container in fluid communication with a tubular passage at the lower end of the member. One embodiment of the member is funnel-shaped and has an open top for engagement by the hand for collapsing of the sidewall as the hand taps or forces the member downwardly to force liquid through the tube, into the interior of the member and onto the hand in a jet or spurt action, the excess liquid dripping from the hand back into the container through the tube. Another embodiment of the member is a laterally extending tube having a nozzle at its outer end. Several embodiments of the funnel-shaped member can be integral with each other if molded in a single process.
