  • Patent number: 5522110
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus comprising a handle and a base member having a first surface and a second surface. The handle is coupled to the first surface and a brush portion is attached to the second surface. The cleaning apparatus further includes an absorbent material portion attached to the second surface of the base member proximate the brush portion, whereby a generally continuous cleaning surface is formed on the second side of the base member by a combination of the brush portion and the absorbent material. A wringer is mounted for pivotal movement with respect to the base member. The wringer can be pivoted from a first, storage position, generally parallel with the handle, to a second position, in which the wringer is substantially parallel with the base member.
