  • Patent number: 5802778
Abstract: A self-contained workstation defined by a multi-panel divider wall which defines a workstation area and is closeable by a door assembly hingedly connected thereto. The workstation is readily movable and accessible so as to facilitate repositioning of the workstation as well as opening and closing of the door assembly. The workstation further includes an overhead canopy which is pivotally connected along one edge to the divider wall and extends forwardly therefrom so as to overlie the workstation area which canopy is raisable to adjust vertical clearance within the workstation.

  • Patent number: 4768844
Abstract: A locking system for a filing cabinet which permits only one drawer to be pulled out at a time includes a vertical track at the side of the cabinet in which move vertically extending bars, one for each drawer, against the pressure of a spring through a predetermined limited distance. When the cabinet is locked the bars are held against any movement. When the cabinet is unlocked, such movement is permitted. When one drawer is withdrawn, a two position cam on the respective bar is rotated 90.degree.. The cam is rotationally mounted on one bar but bears against a projecting shelf on the next adjacent bar or a fixed shelf. When the cam is rotated by the respective drawer being pulled out further movement of the bars is precluded locking all of the other drawers against withdrawal.

  • Patent number: 4446663
Abstract: A readily removable and replaceable acoustical pad for an interior space dividing system of the type having horizontal and vertical frames forming generally rectangular pad receiving windows with the upper horizontal frame member of each window having a depending flange or flanges forming a tongue, each pad having an upwardly opening central groove along the top edge adapted to mate with the tongue whereby the pad may be inserted in the window by first mating the groove with the tongue and then pivoting the pad to a vertical position into a snug fit in the window. The pad is preferably foam and fabric covered to deform along the bottom, vertical and groove spaced top edges to obtain the snug fit, and includes a frame, the upper element of which forms a V-shape groove. A metal septum is centrally positioned in the frame with fiberglass pads on each side, within the frame. Options include one half size foam covers with tack boards either directly fabric covered or with a one quarter size foam cover option.

  • Patent number: 4404776
Abstract: Hanging components of the enclosed or open shelf type for an interior space dividing system utilize a disappearing pivoting hook at the upper rear corners and a pivoting mounting bracket or foot at the lower rear corners, the latter being pivoted to two alternative positions depending on the supporting horizontal frame element of the system or elevation at which the component is supported. Such hooks and mounting brackets are for the most part enclosed within the back-to-back face plates of the vertical panels of the components, such panel forming face plates having rounded edges forming a peripheral slot, such slot being enlarged to accommodate the pivoting movement of the disappearing hook and mounting foot. The face plates are readily assembled and disassembled by an internal tongue and slot connection at the front and by fasteners at the rear which extend through collars forming the pivots for the hook and bracket.

  • Patent number: 4196472
Abstract: A stall control system for axial flow compressors incorporating: a plurality of pressure transducers for developing signals indicative of the nonsteady pressure variations within the compressor and wherein these signals are separately filtered and rectified; analog comparators and gate comparators for each such signal to develop an output indicative of the difference between each of the signals and an adjusted pressure reference signal which is derived from the pressure rise across the compressor; a logic circuit for generating an actuating signal if any one of such signals is higher than the reference signal for controlling the opening of a gate which passes the combined pressure signals to an integrator which develops an output control signal to take corrective action in the presence of rotating stall within the compressor: an adjustable time delay circuit providing long and short decay times to prevent over-control.
