  • Patent number: 4444594
Abstract: Acid cured inorganic compositions which are suitable for use as binder material and which are compatible, in their curing state, with mineral wool are disclosed. The compositions are produced by reacting M.sub.g O and an acid phosphate, chloride or sulfate salt, an amino-alcohol acid-attach control agent and water to form a curable slurry.

  • Patent number: 4346599
Abstract: Apparatus for ultrasonically testing polymer materials includes means for measuring the thickness of the specimen and for measuring the mass density of the specimen in situ. Ultrasonic measurements of the specimen are obtained. Then the specimen holder is rotated past the critical angle and new ultrasonic measurements are obtained. From these ultrasonic measurements the storage and loss moduli and attenuation coefficients for the polymer specimen are obtained.
