Abstract: A power supply system for a hybrid automotive vehicle having a battery which produces a first high voltage sufficient to power one or more electric motors to propel the vehicle. A first voltage step down circuit is connected to the battery circuit which reduces the first voltage to a second voltage sufficient to actuate fuel injectors in the internal combustion engine also used to propel the vehicle. A second step down voltage circuit is connected to either the battery circuit or the first voltage step down circuit which reduces the voltage to a third voltage sufficient to power a low voltage electrically powered device in the drive system of a vehicle.

Abstract: A system, method and/or computer program product for a file system interface (FSIP) that scans a file system of the computer system to obtain file system information, automatically collects and organizes the file system information into an internal cache of the file system information organized in a predetermined manner to enable instantaneous response of query(s) that provides a predetermined view of the file system, automatically monitors the file system for changes, and automatically maintains the internal cache. The FSIP maintains file system information internal data structure consistency, instructs the computer system to construct visual report(s) of the file system without rescanning the system, and instructs the computer system to scan a predefined portion of the file system, whereby multiple portions of the file system can be simultaneously scanned. The FSIP stores the file system information in a single data store, and executes a depth first traversal of the file system.

Abstract: There is disclosed a warning and guidance apparatus for warning a person within a structure of a fire and assisting the person to navigate out of the structure, the warning and guidance system has guidance means (3) having a guide light (9) located within a structure near a floor level of said structure to provide a navigational aid when switched on, and fire alarm means (1) for detecting a fire and initiating an alarm (4) when a fire is detected to thereby warn a person of said fire, said fire alarm means also switching said guidance means (2) on when a fire is detected, whereafter said person can use said guide light (9) to navigate out of the structure.
