Patent number: 11981678Abstract: Disclosed are compounds that bind to embryonic ectoderm development (EED) protein and proteolysis-targeting chimeric (PROTAC) derivatives thereof that induce degradation of EED. The disclosed compounds may be characterized as substituted [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-c]pyrimidin-5-amine compounds. The disclosed PROTAC derivatives thereof typically include a first targeting moiety that binds to EED (MEED) which may be derived from the disclosed [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-c]pyrimidin-5-amine compounds that bind to EED. The first targeting moiety typically is linked via a bond or a linker (L) to a second targeting moiety that binds to an E3 ubiquitin ligase (ME3). As such, the disclosed PROTACS may be described as having a formula MEED-L-ME3 or ME3-L-MEED, wherein MEED has a formula of where R2, n, and x are as described herein.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2022Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: Northwestern UniversityInventors: Gary E. Patent number: 11961770Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a processing tool. The tool includes a housing enclosing a processing chamber, and an input/output port configured to pass a wafer through the housing into and out of the processing chamber. A back-side macro-inspection system is arranged within the processing chamber and is configured to image a back side of the wafer. A front-side macro-inspection system is arranged within the processing chamber and is configured to image a front side of the wafer according to a first image resolution. A front-side micro-inspection system is arranged within the processing chamber and is configured to image the front side of the wafer according to a second image resolution which is higher than the first image resolution.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2021Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Ltd.Inventors: Chia-Han Lin, Chien-Fa Lee, Hsu-Shui Liu, Jiun-Rong Pai, Sheng-Hsiang Chuang, Surendra Kumar Soni, Shou-Wen Kuo, Wu-An Weng, Gary Tsai, Chien-Ko Liao, Ya Hsun Hsueh, Becky Liao, Ethan Yu, Ming-Chi Tsai, Kuo-Yi Liu

Patent number: 11921879Abstract: Embodiments relate to processing a request from a user device for access rights for a resource. An access management system can send a request to query a (e.g., cached or authoritative) data store for available access rights. The query may include an exact-match or fuzzy query. A set of access-right results responsive to the query can be identified. The system may transmit a communication to the user device that identifies the set, or a subset thereof. Upon receiving a selection of a result, the system can facilitate assigning access rights corresponding to the identified result to the user. In some instances, a level of precision at which a characteristic of an access-right result is identified and/or whether or how access rights are held depends on a request load.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Live Nation Entertainment, Inc.Inventors: Debbie Hsu, Victoria Chung, Gary Yu, Jonathan Philpott, Laura Hunter, Hong Zhou

Patent number: 11638645Abstract: The invention relates generally to generation of biomimetic scaffolds for bone tissue engineering and, more particularly, to multi-level lamellar structures having rotated or alternated plywood designs to mimic natural bone tissue. The invention also includes methods of preparing and applying the scaffolds to treat bone tissue defects. The biomimetic scaffold includes a lamellar structure having multiple lamellae and each lamella has a plurality of layers stacked parallel to one another. The lamellae and/or the plurality of layers is rotated at varying angles based on the design parameters from specific tissue structural imaging data of natural bone tissue, to achieve an overall trend in orientation to mimic the rotated lamellar plywood structure of the naturally occurring bone tissue.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2020Date of Patent: May 2, 2023Assignee: UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH—OF THE COMMONWEALTH SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATIONInventors: Prashant N. Kumta, Gary Yu, Abhijit Roy
