  • Publication number: 20240147321
Abstract: A wireless device may communicate via one or more cells. Cell switching may cause the wireless device to switch from communicating via a serving cell to communicating via a target serving cell. Information for triggering a random access via a candidate serving cell may indicate to acquire early time alignment for the candidate serving cell. The information may indicate whether or not to monitor a channel for a response to a preamble transmission to the candidate serving cell.

  • Publication number: 20240121060
Abstract: A wireless device comprises one or more processors and memory storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the wireless device to receive one or more configuration parameters, for a non-terrestrial network (NTN), indicating candidate timing advance (TA) values for a first cell of cells. The instructions cause the wireless device to transmit, via the first cell, a preamble using a TA value selected from the candidate TA values based on one or more measurement power values of reference signals of the cells.

  • Publication number: 20240098613
Abstract: A wireless device may communicate with a base station via a primary cell (PCell) and one or more secondary cells. A plurality of types of handovers, such as a layer 1/layer 2 triggered handover or a conditional handover, may be indicated to the wireless device for switching its PCell. • Publication number: 20240049297
Abstract: One or more wireless devices may determine whether to initiate repetition of a transmission, based on characteristics of communications link, such as in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). Characteristics of the communications link may comprise, for example, distance/length, propagation delay, elevation angle, and/or reference signal received power (RSRP). Different random access resources may be used to indicate whether repetition is initiated.

  • Publication number: 20230354229
Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating a first time alignment timer (TAT) for a first timing advance group (TAG) of a cell and a second TAT for a second TAG of the cell. The wireless device may also receive a random access response (RAR) comprising a timing advance command (TAC). In response to the first TAT not running and the second TAT running, the wireless device may apply the TAC for the first TAG to determine a first timing advance (TA) value and start the first TAT. Furthermore, the wireless device may transmit, via a the cell, a first uplink signal based on the first TA value of the first TAG and a second uplink signal based on a second TA value of the second TAG.

  • Publication number: 20230344557
Abstract: A wireless device receives a packet corresponding to a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process, wherein the packet comprises a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE). Based on whether a feedback of the HARQ process being enabled or disabled, the wireless device applies the MAC CE after at least one of: a first time duration starting from transmission of feedback of the packet; or a second time duration starting from reception of the packet.

  • Publication number: 20230309127
Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating a geographical area for a preconfigured uplink resource (PUR) configuration of a first cell. The wireless device may further transmit, when the first cell is a serving cell, an uplink signal via one or more PURs indicated by the PUR configuration. The wireless device may also maintain, when a second cell is the serving cell, the PUR configuration of the first cell based on a geographical location of the wireless device being within the geographical area.

  • Publication number: 20230254853
Abstract: A wireless device may communicate with a base station by using overlapping transmissions. Information such as a channel state information (CSI) report may be multiplexed in a repetition of a transmission such as a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. A rule may be applied to indicate/determine which repetition, of a plurality of repetitions, comprises the multiplexed information. The rule may comprise including the multiplexed information in a transmission associated with at least one of: a lowest (or highest) frequency or range of frequencies, a lowest (or highest) starting (or ending) resource block, a lowest (or highest) transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, a lowest (or highest) TCI state index, a lowest (or highest) panel or panel index, and/or any other parameter/indicator that may differentiate a transmission (including the multiplexed information) from other transmission(s).
