    Abstract: Building DNA strands at a high rate that are suitable for data storage. Methods include using DNAzyme and utilizing libraries of pre-prepared oligos. A system for the DNA strand synthesis includes: a DNA symbol library comprising a number of single strand oligo symbols; a DNA linker library comprising a first set of single strand oligo linkers and a second set of single strand oligo linkers; and a DNAzyme library comprising a number of DNAzymes. An S1 end of a first DNAzyme is adapted to join the S1 end of a symbol and an S2 end of the first DNAzyme is adapted to join an S2 end of a first linker, and an S1 end of a second DNAzyme is adapted to join an S1 end of a second linker and an S2 end of the second DNAzyme is adapted to join an S2 end of the symbol.

The card has an injection port for receiving a test sample; at least one metering chamber; a mixing material source for introducing mixing material(s) to the metering chamber; fluid communication channels fluidly connecting the injection port and the mixing material source to the metering chamber; and at least one output port for delivering the test sample to a sensor (e.g., GMR sensor). The substrate has associated therewith: the sensor for sensing analytes in the test sample; electrical contact portions for an electrical connection with a reader unit; and a memory chip.     Abstract: Methods of detecting the presence of an analyte in a query sample include providing a sensor that includes biomolecules disposed on a polymer-coated surface of a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor. Modes of operation remove or add magnetic beads from the vicinity of the sensor surface by interactions with the biomolecules. The methods feature detecting the presence of the analyte in the query sample by measuring resistance change of the GMR sensor based on determining resistance before and after passing magnetic particles over the sensor.
