  • Patent number: 6186853
Abstract: A mechanized bubble making toy with enhanced spill resistance having a hand held housing and manually operated bubble making wand movable relative to an annularly shaped reservoir of bubble forming solution is provided. The wand and an associated ring are movable between operational and loading positions. The wand ring moves through a thin slot provided within the inner circumference of the annular reservoir to thereby limit the ability of the bubble forming solution to escape. If solution escapes, a drip gutter is provided around the inner circumference of the reservoir to direct the excess solution back to the reservoir, and if excess solution drips form the wand ring, a drip string is provided to directly communicate the solution from the wand ring to the reservoir. The reservoir includes a bay shaped to ensure both that a film of solution is formed, and that substantially all solution is used.

  • Patent number: 5334087
Abstract: A bubble maker comprises a support and a pair of separate bands connected to the support at first and second spaced-apart positions. The bands are adapted to extend substantially parallel and near to each other and also to flexed and stretched so as to form a gap of substantial size between the bands. A dispenser mounted on the support dispenses a bubble-forming solution near the first position, and a collector mounted on the support collects excess solution near the second position. Drawstrings mounted on the support engage the elastic bands at positions intermediate the first and second positions for separating the bands. A pump pumps solution from the collector to the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 4461436
Abstract: A model having a flying saucer shaped body which is provided with lift by means of a thrust producing device such as a reciprocating Wankel or turbine engine and a propeller. The body is prevented from rotating by means of counterrotational fins, and stability in the horizontal plane is provided by means of an internal gyro rotor actuated by the airflow from the propeller.

  • Patent number: 4248422
Abstract: A maze, having two conductors, on each side of the maze path, is traversed by a conductive wand controlled by the operator. The maze is covered from view by a magnetically attractive surface which also may be made opaque. The wand includes a magnet that rests on the magnetically attractive surface to support the wand, while the wand tip engages the maze path. The path is viewed by way of a mirror increasing the skill required to negotiate the wand tip through the maze path.

  • Patent number: 4175743
Abstract: A maze formed of two conductors, bracketing the maze path, is traversed by a conductive wand controlled by the operator. The path may be viewed by means of a mirror to increase the skill required to operate the game.
