    Abstract: In a wireless communication environment, there may arise a timing misalignment for SRS-RSRP measurement. In order to address this issue, a UE may receive an uplink transmission from second UE containing the uplink transmission timing for the first UE. The UE may then set its measurement timing to be the same as the uplink transmission timing. The UE then carries out SRS-RSRP measurement according to the newly-set measurement timing.

Based on such a manner, efficiency of the backup system can be increased.

    Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for supporting integrated access and backhaul (IAB) networks. IAB nodes may be configured to broadcast in-raster and off-raster synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) for establishing communications with mobile devices and/or user equipment (UE). The SSBs may provide control resource set (CORESET) data used for establishing a communication channel between a UE and an IAB node. The CORESET data may be configured to support the broadcast of off-raster SSBs in wireless communication systems. In some embodiments, the in-raster SSB and the off-raster SSB may share the same CORESET. In this case, the IAB may modify a bit pattern of configuration table corresponding to the shared CORESET and broadcast the in-raster SSB and the off-raster SSB while including the modified bit pattern.

    Abstract: A layer freezing and data sieving technique used in a sparse training domain for object recognition, providing end-to-end dataset-efficient training. The layer freezing and data sieving methods are seamlessly incorporated into a sparse training algorithm to form a generic framework. The generic framework consistently outperforms prior approaches and significantly reduces training floating point operations per second (FLOPs) and memory costs while preserving high accuracy. The reduction in training FLOPs comes from three sources: weight sparsity, frozen layers, and a shrunken dataset. The training acceleration depends on different factors, e.g., the support of the sparse computation, layer type and size, and system overhead. The FLOPs reduction from the frozen layers and shrunken dataset leads to higher actual training acceleration than weight sparsity.

The rock burst hazard prediction method comprehensively considers the static load and dynamic load effects of the vibration waves of the mine earthquake cluster based on vibration wave energy attenuation characteristics of the mine earthquake cluster. The static load strength index and the dynamic load strength index involved in the method have clear physical meanings. A comprehensive prediction index calculation model proposed based on the dynamic and static load superposition principle of rock burst occurrence is clear, and the method has a firm theoretical support as well as strong universality and operability. Meanwhile, the updating and adjustment of weights are rapid and the objective judgment and prediction of the final comprehensive prediction results are efficient, and the high-energy mine earthquake and impact behavior area can be effectively predicted.

    Abstract: A device and a method for detecting cigarette fly ash by a gray-scale difference based on machine vision (MV) are provided. A manipulator holds a cigarette as a detection sample to simulate a human smoking action, and multiple groups of cameras track a simulated smoking process of the detection sample synchronously in real time. It is determined whether fly ash appears based on a gray-scale difference of burning ash columns, produced without being subjected to flicking, in acquired images. A fly ash area of the burning ash columns of the cigarette is calculated by an area with the gray-scale difference of the burning ash columns of the cigarette in two sequential images of the burning ash columns of the cigarette, and a fly ash amount is further determined. The detection of the amount of fine fly ash is converted into the detection of the gray-scale difference.
