  • Patent number: 5043254
Abstract: A method for forming an image comprises processing a silver halide color photosensitive material comprising a nondiffusible coupler and a nondiffusible color developing agent on a support with a color developer containing a diffusible color developing agent comprising an aromatic primary amine. By this method, it is possible to reduce the processing time required when a color developer containing an ordinary aromatic primary amine as the color developing agent is used and also to provide a stable image forming method having only a slight processing dependence.

  • Patent number: 5006453
Abstract: The present inventioin calls for a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer containing a dispersion of oleophilic fine particles containing at least one diffusion resistant oil-soluble coupler which forms a substantially nondiffusible dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and at least one water-immiscible coupler solvent having a melting point of not more than 100.degree. C. and a boiling point of not less than 140.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 4925781
Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the silver halide color photographic material contains at least one kind of pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler represented by the general formula (I) described below and the total coating amount of silver in the photographic material is 0.75 g/m.sup.2 or less. ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon a coupling reaction with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; Za, Zb and Zc each represents a methine group, a substituted methine group, .dbd.

  • Patent number: 4840878
Abstract: A method for forming a color image is disclosed, which comprises imagewise exposing a multi-layer silver halide color photographic material comprising a reflective support having provided thereon at least three silver halide emulsion layers different in color sensitivity, each of which separately contains at least one coupler selected from a specific combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow couplers, and processing the exposed material with a color developing solution containing substantially no benzyl alcohol for a period of not more than 2 minutes and a half. A color image excellent in color reproducibility and preservability can be obtained rapidly without using benzyl alcohol.

  • Patent number: 4830948
Abstract: A method of forming color photographic images where a silver halide color photographic material containing a coupler which forms a dye by reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and containing an acid-processed gelatin in an amount of 25% by weight or more of the amount of the total gelatin coated is color developed, desilvered and then rinsed in water and/or stabilized. The total of the processing time of said desilvering, rinsing-in-water and stabilization steps is controlled to be 3 minutes or less, and/or the amount of replenisher added to the rinsing-in-water bath and stabilization bath is controlled to be from 0.5 to 50 times of the amount of the processing solution which is brought into the rinsing-in-water bath and stabilization bath from the desilvering bath together with the material which is being processed.

  • Patent number: 4529692
Abstract: A color photographic material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base having thereon a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a compound associated with the emulsion layer, the compound being represented by general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein the substituents are defined in the specification. The dye image-forming compounds forming metal chelates have good absorption when the dye forms a color image. Further, these compounds have a large molecular absorption coefficient and are substantially stable with respect to light after forming a color image.
