  • Patent number: 11828340
Abstract: A device of a friction brake includes a collection container. Brake particles in an airflow coming from the friction brake are filterable by the device and the brake particles are collectable in the collection container. Collected brake particles are processable by the device such that an amount of respirable brake particles in the collected brake particles is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20210362085
Abstract: A filter device collects and stores brake particles generated by a friction brake. The filter device can be regenerated. The filter device determines that at least one boundary condition that makes it possible and/or permits the execution of regeneration of the filter device is met. In response to the determination, brake particles stored in the filter device are to be removed from the filter device.

  • Publication number: 20160082936
Abstract: A method is provided for braking a motor vehicle equipped with wheel brakes without a hydraulic connection to a brake-operating device, and with a service brake unit having a brake actuator, which, triggered by an output signal of the brake-operating device and ultimately with the aid of a control device, loads the wheel brakes in a wheel- or axle selective manner so that the braking force changes at least on one wheel or at least on one axle. The method is characterized in that a total setpoint braking force that decelerates the motor vehicle is distributed via the brake actuator to the individual wheels or axles by the control device.

  • Publication number: 20070240949
Abstract: In a brake shoe (1) comprising a carrier plate (2) having arranged thereon first a dampening and noise-reducing intermediate layer (4) and then a friction lining (6), it is provided that the intermediate layer (4), on the side thereof facing towards the friction lining (6), comprises a three-dimensional surface structure, and that the friction lining (6) on the carrier-plate side is adapted to the surface contour (5) of the intermediate layer (4).

  • Publication number: 20070152501
Abstract: The invention relates to a brake system and a process for braking for a motor vehicle. A brake system for a motor vehicle is provided. The system comprises a brake actuation device for wheel brakes formed as friction brakes. A control device is provided where, in a braked transition from driving to standing as of a certain low speed or from standing to driving up to a certain low speed, the control device actuates the wheel brakes at different times from one another, or energizes the wheel brakes at different times from one another with increasing actuation force, or releases the wheel brakes at different times from one another, or energizes the wheel brakes at different times from one another with decreasing actuation force.

  • Patent number: 6851527
Abstract: In a brake shoe (1), particularly for a disk brake of motor vehicles, comprising a carrier plate (2) on which a friction lining (6) is fastened, in which outwardly open grooves (8) are arranged in a groove pattern, it is provided that for the reduction of moment vibrations during the braking procedure, the grooves (8) are filled up with an elastic filler (12) that does not consist of abrasive material.

  • Patent number: 6722478
Abstract: An assembled vehicle brake disk has a basically rotationally symmetrical friction ring which is fastened by way of several linking points in a rigid or floating manner to a basically rotationally symmetrical hub part. At least two distances between respectively adjacent linking points, which distances follow one another in the circumferential direction, differ from one another, in which case, viewed in their entirety, the linking points are arranged in a non-uniformly distributed manner along the circumference. Preferably, an uneven number of linking points are provided which may be arranged to be very asymmetrically distributed along the circumference. The number of linking points may be in the order of between 5 and 15, a smaller number being provided per circumferential segment with respect to lower-frequency noise radiations, and a higher number being provided with respect to higher-frequency noise radiations.
