  • Patent number: 9199522
Abstract: A carrying axle (1) for trailers and a method for the production thereof are provided. The axle (1) includes an axle body (4) having an outer supporting axle tube (10) in which a rocker arm assembly (6), which is bent once or several times, is introduced. The rocker arm assembly (6) is produced as a metal, tubular stamped and bent single piece. The rocker arm assembly is stamped from a platine (21) or a sheet metal strip (23) and is bent in order to form an angled tube (22).

  • Patent number: 5502021
Abstract: This invention concerns highly reactive reagents and compositions for purifying exhaust gases and flue gases and for purifying wastewater as well as the processes for producing same and use thereof. The reagents and compositions are mixtures of calcium hydroxide with additives, especially clays, powdered bricks, carbon products such as coal dust and flue ash and optionally water glass which are already porous due to their special production and have a high specific surface area of up to about 200 m.sup.2 /g.Using these sorbents, hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons, dioxins and furans in addition to heavy metals can be removed from exhaust gases and wastewater. Other advantages include the easy setup of the resulting products and their great safety for dumping.

  • Patent number: 5114592
Abstract: The invention involves a process as well as apparatus for the separation of arsenic from waste material. The process includes precipitation of arsenic in the form of low solubility calcium magnesium arsenates by adding calcium and magnesium compounds to the waste, separation of calcium magnesium arsenates, putting the waste in contact with an ion exchanger, regenerating the ion exchanger after reaching the charge limit, adsorptively separating the arsenic by putting the waste in contact with active carbon, and separating the charged active carbon by itself or along with precipitation products. The process allows for a separation of arsenic from waste which is hard to be treated or contains heavy metals such as lead or contains sulfates to residual amounts as low as <0.3 mg As/l.

  • Patent number: 4936872
Abstract: The process for cooling raw gas obtained from partial oxidation of carbon-containing material by way of the fluidized-bed method, the fixed-bed method or the entrained-bed method at temperatures above 700.degree. C. and pressures ranging from 1 to 120 bar, the carbon-containing material being coal, peat or any other carbon-containing solid, while the oxidizing agent is oxygen, air, water and/or another oxygen-containing matter, to provide a solution to the problem of avoiding fouling and corrosion downstream heat exchangers. This aim is achieved in that raw gas is cooled direct to temperatures ranging from 100.degree.-500.degree. C. in a downstream fluidized-bed cooler using solid additives such as sand.

  • Patent number: 4353300
Abstract: To prevent escape of ink from a backing plate of an ink trough in which a duct roller is rotatably positioned, a flexible element, for example of plastic, in the form of an elongated rail with two extending plate portions, is connected, respectively, to the backing plate and to the doctor blade, for example by adhesion to the doctor blade and by clamping with a clamping rail to the backing plate, thus permitting removal of the doctor blade together with the plastic element for replacement of the doctor blade. The adjustment mechanism, preferably utilizing adjustment screws having threads of opposite direction of rotation in different positions in a threading block and a threading plate attached to the doctor blade, provides for accurate adjustment, protected against contamination by the ink by the plastic element bridging any gap between the backing plate and the doctor blade, while permitting respective zone adjustment of the position of the doctor blade with respect to the duct roller.
