  • Publication number: 20240101561
Abstract: This invention relates to tetrazoles and their use as inhibitors of TRPA1 activity, pharmaceutical compositions containing the same, and methods of using the same as agents for treatment and/or prevention of fibrotic diseases, inflammatory and auto-immune diseases and CNS-related diseases.

  • Patent number: 9478765
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electro-optical device stack (10) includes providing a multi-layered structure comprising an electro-optical layer (13) that contacts a charge injection layer (12) comprising an acidic compound (12m). A resist layer (14) is deposited onto the electro-optical layer (13) and comprises a cationically-crosslinkable resist material (14m) that reacts adjacent breaches (12?,13?) in the electro-optical layer (13) by a cross-linking reaction. This reaction is induced by protons (12p) from the charge injection layer (12) and results in covering of the breaches (12?,13?) with patches (14p) comprising cross-linked resist material (14c). Parts of the resist material (14m) that have not cross-linked are removed, whereas the remaining patches (14p) provide electrical insulation between the charge injection layer (12) and a layer subsequently deposited onto the electro-optical layer (13).

  • Patent number: 4260102
Abstract: An apparatus for punching of symbols into template material with a punching tool. The punching tool has punching pins selectable by corresponding selector means. An operating mechanism, after selection of the punching pins by the corresponding selector means presses the punching pins through the template material in a grid arrangement characteristic of each symbol to be punched into the template material. The punching tool has several parallel rows of punching pins, of different punch sizes for punching of symbols in different sizes of lettering and/or types of lettering. The selector means selects and operates the punching pins of only one punching row, in any desired combination for punching of symbols according to a straight-line dot grid.

  • Patent number: 4226303
Abstract: A hydraulic damping element for use with tripods adapted to have camera devices mounted thereon. The damping elements include interleafed annular disks, one set thereof being secured to a hub element and another set being secured to a member radially spaced from the hub. A fluid is received between the interleafed disks so that when acceleration-type forces are applied to either the hub or the radially spaced member, the shear forces on the fluid will resist the acceleration forces so that the overall movement of one relative to the other will be smooth and continuous. A locking structure is provided to either activate or deactivate the damping elements as desired by the user thereof.

  • Patent number: 4114821
Abstract: To obtain a coherent and uniformly wound bobbin from a fast-running thread, a thread guide in the vicinity of the bobbin is subjected to a pattern of movement comprising a set of short rapid oscillating movements repeated stepwise along the length of the bobbin so that there is a slow traverse of the bobbin, followed by a rapid passing movement, which may be reciprocatory, along the bobbin to overlay the windings formed in the slow traverse.Apparatus for performing this operation may comprise a slotted drum to impart the rapid oscillatory movement to the thread guide, and a cross-grooved shaft for shifting this drum in the axial direction.
