The apparatus includes an interposer film having a spacer surface and a back surface; a first spacer carried by the interposer film on the spacer surface adjacent a first edge of the interposer film; a second spacer carried by the interposer film on the spacer surface adjacent a second edge of the interposer film, the spacers defining a process-film protective space; and a rotatable core oriented to receive an initial end of the interposer film and to roll up the interposer film with a process film in the process-film protective space with a passive surface of the process film adjacent a surface of the interposer film.

Abstract: A process for coating frozen confection stick products (20) is provided, the process comprising providing a chamber (2) having two open ends (3,4), two sides (5,6) and a base (7); providing at least one pair of apertures (10A-10D), wherein one aperture of each pair is located on each side of the chamber, and wherein the apertures are vertical slots; supplying a liquid coating material to each aperture thereby forming curtains of the liquid coating material (14A-14D); and conveying the frozen confection (20) through the chamber with the stick uppermost so that the frozen confection passes through the curtains of coating material. An apparatus for operating the process is also provided.

Abstract: Cutting apparatus (10) comprising a body assembly (11) including a lower wear disc (12) and an upper lifting and cutting assembly (13), mounted for driven rotation on a mower via driving hub (14). The lifting and cutting assembly (13) includes four blade assemblies (15) each comprising a pivoting angled blade (16) pivotally supported on lug (17) by bolt (20), located at the outer end of lifting means (21) comprising a curve walled portion (22) extending from a hub (23) and having an upper edge (24) which curves in a trailing direction out to the blade assembly (15 at 25). The cutting apparatus (10) forms a mower in assembly with a frame assembly (35) having mounted thereto a plane roller (36), a ribbed roller (37), describing therebetween a nip (40). The rollers are driven by train (41) adapted to be engaged by the PTO of a vehicle.

Abstract: A motion picture film having a plurality of digitally coded soundtracks which are colorless and transparent to visible light and which fluoresce when exposed to ultraviolet light, unexposed film for providing the product, and the method for producing the product and methods for producing the exposed and unexposed films. The soundtrack images which overlie at least a portion of the visible image area of the film are digitally coded on the film using an electrostatic imaging system to imprint a fluorescent toner. The toner may comprise a fluorescent polymer having covalently bonded 3-phenyl-7-(amido or imido)-coumarin or certain substituted stilbene or N-alkyl-4-aminonaphalimides.
