    Abstract: A gear shaper machine system drives and maneuvers a hone tool to generate teeth geometry in a manner the teeth were machined prior to a hardening process. After heat treatment, the hone tool is indexed to the teeth geometry spacing of the workpiece so as to divide the stock removal evenly between the drive and coast sides. The hone tool may be driven with rotational and reciprocating synchronous teeth generating motion in which the hone tool reciprocates along the length of the teeth parallel to the centerline of the workpiece while the workpiece and hone tool rotate with synchronous motion.

    Abstract: A rotor aircraft has a tilting hub for cyclic control operated by either a tilting spindle or swash plate mounted to the upper end of the drive shaft. A spinner housing with two separate half portions encloses the hub. The blades of the rotor have root portions that are integrally joined to the separate half portions. During a collective pitch change, the half portions rotate relative to each other, but at advance ratios greater than about 0.7, when the collective can be held constant, the spinner half portions can be in perfect alignment. Concentric control sleeves surround the drive shaft for changing collective pitch as well as cyclic pitch.

The rotor assembly includes a rotor having either a single or a plurality of rotor blades which can produce a resultant force vector which can pass through or near the center of gravity of the rotorcraft, and a spindle to connect the rotor with a flight control assembly. The rotor assembly also includes a tilting mast assembly having a tilting mast frame also connected to the spindle to support the rotor. The tilting mast tilts the rotor and provides cyclic control through a cyclic control linkage connected to the tilting mast frame. A mast control cylinder is provided to tilt the tilting mast assembly.

The masking tool includes a flexible back-plate (64) and a plurality of compliant masking segments (62) bonded to and integrated by the flexible back-plate (64). Each of the compliant masking segments (62) define a surface geometry (66) which is substantially complementary to the respective tooth space surface (68). Furthermore, adjacent compliant masking segments (62) define an open-ended channel (70) therebetween.

    Abstract: A consumable depression rail and water stop for concrete building slabs wherein the rail when positioned forms a level for the concrete as it is poured and also acts as a guide to form a depressed area of the slab. The elongated rail also forms a water stop to prevent water from moving from the depressed area into a building. The rail is generally T shaped in cross-section, and may be cut into small pieces which are used as consumable supports for maintaining the rail in a fixed position.
