  • Publication number: 20050191870
Abstract: A low profile expansion card retaining clip is disclosed. In one aspect, the present disclosure teaches a chassis component forming a part of a chassis including a panel having an aperture formed therein. The aperture maintains access to a computer component. The computer component has a bracket. A frame formed adjacent the aperture receives a portion of the bracket. A retaining clip movably couples to the frame such that the retaining clip moves between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The retaining clip oriented and designed to permit airflow through the frame. A spring member operably extending from a portion of the retaining clip, the spring member operably engages the bracket to secure the computer component to the chassis component in the engaged position and operably permits removal and installation of the computer component in the disengaged position.

  • Patent number: 5239816
Abstract: A steam deflector assembly for a steam injected gas turbine engine having an annular manifold as a part of the combustion chamber casing. The manifold has a port through the exterior of the casing and a plurality of evenly spaced steam passage holes leading to the interior of the casing. The deflector assembly comprises an exterior bracket surrounding the port to which a steam line is attached and a deflector plate and retainer member therefor located within the manifold. The assembly protects the casing from low cycle fatigue cracking and distributes the steam flow about the manifold.

  • Patent number: 4441477
Abstract: A fuel economizer system for use with an internal combustion engine comprises an evaporation chamber into which gasoline is sprinkled, and in which evaporated gasoline is mixed with air; a two-way safety valve arrangement permitting the mixture to be drawn from the chamber to the intake manifold of the engine but preventing backfires from reaching the chamber; and a return fuel line for recycling the sprinkled gasoline by returning it from the chamber to the fuel tank. A portion of the return line in contact with the exhaust pipe picks up exhaust heat to energize the recycled fuel.
