  • Publication number: 20090125126
Abstract: Example methods and apparatus to modify a recipe process flow during recipe execution are disclosed. A disclosed example method involves executing a recipe, and before completion of execution of the recipe, receiving process flow change information indicative of a modification to a process flow of the recipe. Process flow rules are then retrieved from a process flow rules data structure. The recipe process flow is modified based on the process flow change information in response to determining that at least one requested change indicated by the process flow change information does not violate one of the process flow rules.

  • Publication number: 20090125906
Abstract: Example methods and apparatus to execute an auxiliary recipe and a batch recipe execution are disclosed. A disclosed example method involves executing a first recipe, and before completion of execution of the first recipe, receiving an auxiliary recipe. The example method also involves determining whether the first recipe has reached an entry point at which the auxiliary recipe can be executed. The auxiliary recipe is then executed in response to determining that the first recipe has reached the entry point.

  • Patent number: 6885661
Abstract: The present invention guarantees that voice data (and other information types) will switch within a predetermined time period. Systems and methods consistent with the present invention accomplish this guarantee by, among other things, establishing permanent virtual paths between each network element, guaranteeing each voice line a slot in a packet in each frame, employing both octet switching and packet switching, synchronizing the operation of the network elements to a reference clock, and providing several levels of network redundancy.

  • Publication number: 20040184714
Abstract: A photonic switch uses a cost-effective DWDM optimized switch architecture allowing the introduction of DWDM into the metro network. In order to implement this architecture cost-effective ways of implementing the optical carrier frequency/wavelength precision required for a Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing 100 GHz or 50 GHz on-grid solutions are needed. The photonic switch acts as an intermediary between the WDM density of the access portion of the metropolitan photonic network and the DWDM density of the core photonic network. The metro photonic switch introduces optical carriers that are all generated in the photonic layer adjacent to it and allocates them out to the photonic access nodes for modulation. This has the advantage of providing the optical carriers to be modulated from a centralized highly stable and precise source, thereby meeting the requirements for DWDM carrier precision, whilst generating these carriers in relatively close proximity to the modulators.

  • Patent number: 6664327
Abstract: An aqueous composition is provided containing a first polymer including at least one C12 to C40 alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid, as polymerized units; at least one wax, at least one pigment, and optionally, at least one second polymer, wherein the sum of the first polymer and the second polymer is at least 10 weight %, based on weight of the aqueous composition; wherein the weight ratio of the first polymer to the second polymer is at least 1:4; and wherein the first polymer and the second polymer have a combined glass transition temperature in the range of −5 to 20° C. As provided is a method of treating a wood surface with the aqueous composition. The aqueous composition provides wood with resistance to water wetting and penetration of water and is suitable as a semi-transparent stain for wood.

  • Patent number: 6095181
Abstract: Hydraulic hoses coupled between the tractor and trailer units of an articulated vehicle are connected to each of the units by a swivel joint to permit the hydraulic hoses to swivel at the point of connection to the respective tractor and trailer units. The hydraulic hoses are individually positioned within separators to separate the hydraulic hoses and position them in a predetermined manner relative to forming a hose bundle. Each of the hydraulic hose supporting separators is positioned on a steel spring bow to control the shape of the hose bundle, with each end of the spring bow terminating in a coil spring at the point of connection with the tractor and trailer units. A support frame, preferably joined to the trailer unit, retains the hose bundle in a predetermined position to provide vertical stability and a spiral plastic or rubber outer wrap encircles the hose bundle to protect and keep the bundle together.

  • Patent number: 4204757
Abstract: A camera construction including a flash mechanism utilizing a generator which is responsive to impact forces. The generator is connected to the flash mechanism, and the generator is provided with an anvil for application of the impact with current being thereby developed to energize the flash mechanism. The impact force is provided by means of a spring loaded striker pin. The pin is automatically moved to a cocked position in conjunction with the cocking of the camera shutter mechanism. The pin is then automatically released and driven against the anvil upon actuation of the shutter mechanism during the picture taking operation. This provides a flash in synchronism with the operation of the shutter mechanism so that the flash will be effective during the film exposure.
