    Abstract: A silicone glazing system for supporting and retaining a glass pane wherein the window frame is lined with a spacer rod composed of a heat cured vulcanizable silicone rubber composition of a Durometer A Hardness of at least 30, and the window pane is placed and rested against the spacer rod. There is applied a room temperature vulcanizable silicone rubber sealant over the exposed areas of the spacer rods so as to join and bind the window pane to the window frame.
