    Abstract: Motor driven pumps are provided of the canned, or isolated stator type which include a center shaft, rotating shaft support bearings, controlled cooling, and automatic thrust balancing construction, utilizing fixed orifices. A snubber is carried on the shaft at the shaft end opposite to the impeller. The snubber has an en surface which faces an end liner plate.
