  • Patent number: 11953707
Abstract: A multi-layer lens is disclosed which includes a plurality of dual-layer structures staked on top of one-another, wherein each dual-layer Ri of the plurality of dual-layers includes i) a first curable material having a height of ZLi cured at a predetermined curing level CA, and ii) a second curable material having a height of Zgi cured at a predetermined curing level CB.

  • Patent number: 6893619
Abstract: A plate-frame heat exchange reactor having a serial cross-flow geometry. This is accomplished by designing a plate-frame heat exchanger wherein the flow of feed gas in one cell of the reactor flows perpendicular to the flow of burner exhaust within the next adjacent cell. The improved reactor increases the Reynold's number of the flows as compared with a massively parallel design to improve heat transfer and reactant mixing characteristics, thereby reducing reactor size by half or more. The serial cross-flow arrangement allows for constructing reactors where feed gas addition is possible at many distinct points along the serial flow in order to control hot spots or other undesirable chemical reactions. The new arrangement also greatly reduces manifolding of the flows and reduces the distinct components of the reactor.

  • Publication number: 20040092901
Abstract: A self-contained diaper changing kit that can include a diaper that is formed with interior and exterior surfaces of anterior and posterior portions, and which incorporates a generally unitary container that is configured to attach to the exterior surface of the diaper. The container is formed with a plurality such as three or more unsealable and also possibly resealable receptacles. One or any of the receptacles can be further adapted with at least one scission element that is configured in any number of arrangements to unseal the corresponding receptacle. In one variation of many possible configurations, the container can include at least three unsealable and possibly resealable receptacles wherein one receptacle can contain a substantially liquid substance such as a lotion or medicament, another receptacle can be received with a substantially powdered substance, and another receptacle can capture and store a sheet material such as a pre-dampened towel or wiping material.

  • Patent number: 4105218
Abstract: Portable pallet carriers for lifting a pallet and converting it into a knock-down, portable truck that can be readily assembled to move a load about. Two pairs of carriers are detachably attached to a conventional pallet adjacent the four corners thereof. Each carrier has an elongated, rigid arm that is inserted into the pallet underlying the top or platform crosspieces of the pallet and is removably attached thereto without modification of the pallet. The support arm is provided with a guide slot normal to its longitudinal axis within which is slidably guided a guide plate connected to a caster mount that is moved to two terminal positions on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis of the support arm so that the support arm raises or lowers the pallet as the caster mount is moved to its terminal positions. In order to move the caster mount, an operating linkage connects the caster mount to the support arm.
