Patent number: 11975167Abstract: A medical connector can include a body having a fluid path with an inlet port, an outlet port, a luer portion, and a post extending through a fluid path. An arm having a latch member is coupled to the body to engage a ridge or thread on an exterior surface of a reciprocal connector. The arm may also include an extension. When the connector is in an open position, the latch member restricts retraction of the reciprocal connector from the outlet port. A seal is coupled to the body and includes a flap extending across the outlet port or a bellows to compress along an axis. In a closed position, the post restricts flow through the luer portion. In an open position, the post permits flow through the luer portion.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2022Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: CAREFUSION 303, INC.Inventors: George M. Patent number: 11971409Abstract: A method of preparing an antibody therapeutic is provided comprising: (a) providing a dissociated cell sample from at least one solid tumor sample obtained from a patient; (b) loading the dissociated cell sample into a microfluidic device having a flow region and at least one isolation region fluidically connected to the flow region; (c) moving at least one B cell from the dissociated cell sample into at least one isolation region in the microfluidic device, thereby obtaining at least one isolated B cell; and (d) using the microfluidic device to identify at least one B cell that produces antibodies capable of binding to cancer cells. The cancer cells can be the patient's own cancer cells. Also provided are methods of treating patients, methods of labeling or detecting cancer, engineered T or NK cells comprising antibodies or fragments thereof, and engineered antibody constructs.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2020Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Bruker Cellular Analysis, Inc.Inventors: Kevin T. Patent number: 11927924Abstract: A building system includes one or more storage devices having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive an unstructured user question from a user device of a user and query a graph database based on the unstructured user question to extract context associated with the unstructured user question from contextual information of a building stored by the graph database, wherein the graph database stores the contextual information of the building through nodes and edges between the nodes, wherein the nodes represent equipment, spaces, people, and events associated building and the edges represent relationships between the equipment, spaces, people, and events. The instructions further cause the one or more processors to retrieve data from one or more data sources based on the context and compose a presentation based on the retrieved data.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2023Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: JOHNSON CONTROLS TECHNOLOGY COMPANYInventors: George R. Publication number: 20220267449Abstract: Provided herein are methods for purifying an anti-?4?7 integrin antibody, such as vedolizumab, from a liquid solution, e.g., from a mammalian cell culture clarified harvest. The invention relates, inter alia, to purification methods for controlling the amount of product-related substances and/or process-related impurities present in purified preparations of an anti-?4?7 integrin antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, e.g., vedolizumab. Compositions comprising an anti-?4?7 antibody, and uses thereof to treat a disorder, are also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2020Publication date: August 25, 2022Inventors: Debra Ameli, Susan R. Carter, Michael E. Dolan, Nicole Hilo, Amitava Kundu, Amy Miller, George Parks, Olga Paley, Paras Bhatia
