  • Publication number: 20210286824
Abstract: An online system performs upgrades of replicated databases. The online system stores data in a primary site and a secondary site. The primary site comprising databases used to process client requests and a secondary site comprising databases used as standby. The online system upgrades databases of both sites by upgrading the secondary site, switching client requests to the secondary site while using the databases of primary site as standby databases. The online system then upgrades the primary site. The process allows the online system to upgrade databases with small down time.

  • Publication number: 20170224093
Abstract: A wearable headlight holder assembly includes a central rectangular webbing with two stretchable rings extending at distal ends, and a strip of Velcro sewed to the center of said webbing and used to detachably strap the webbing to a headband. The headlight holder assembly allows for the placement of a light source though the two stretchable rings and allows the user to illuminate a chosen area. The present design are more flexible to fit headlights with various sizes and cost-effective to manufacture. The flexible design also allows it to be attached to a headband, a clothing, belt, or forearm for uses including but not limited to exercising, repairs or camping.

  • Patent number: 8692485
Abstract: An electrical system for powering electrical circuits has a current varying device electrically coupled to a power consuming device and an exhaustible power source connector. A first microprocessor receives power through the exhaustible power source connector and communicates with a first signal modulator and demodulator. An inductor is responsive to the current varying device from which power is drawn. A second microprocessor receives power from the inductor and communicates with a second signal modulator and demodulator. The second signal modulator and demodulator receive power from the inductor.
