  • Patent number: 7845048
Abstract: An air-blower includes a housing formed from non-corrosive material and is sized for being transportable. The housing has a cavity concentrically centered about its axis, and has an open distal end in fluid communication with the cavity and a closed proximal end. A conduit is conjoined to the housing and provided with proximal and distal ends. The conduit is telescopically adjustable. A mechanism is included for discharging a volume of air away from the conduit. A power supply source is coupled to the discharging mechanism and is contained within the housing, and includes a rechargeable battery pack. The power supply source includes first and second power cords connectable to the battery pack for recharging the battery pack from a cigarette lighter or an electrical wall outlet. A quick-release fastener is connected to the proximal end of the housing for attaching the air-blower to a belt region of one's pants.

  • Patent number: 6419458
Abstract: A pump 12 is (or pumps are) located in a blind foundation pile 14 that has been driven into the sea floor. The top of the pile 14 is provided with a fitting that includes an inlet 18, a hanger 24 for the pump 12, and an outlet 20. water is delivered from a filtering and treatment apparatus into the pile 14 through the inlet 18. The pump 12 delivers the water under pressure through the outlet 20 into piping that directs the water to the water injection well.

  • Publication number: 20010007283
Abstract: An apparatus and method that uses the local raw water injection equipment to use the minimally processed seawater as the hydraulic power fluid for the downhole turbine/pump arrangement. In one embodiment, the raw water provides the hydraulic power to the downhole equipment via the production well annulus in an open loop arrangement. The raw water is co-mingled with the production fluids. In another embodiment, the raw water provides the hydraulic power to the downhole equipment via the production well annulus in a closed loop arrangement. The raw water is not co-mingled with the production fluids. In another embodiment, the raw water provides hydraulic power to the downhole equipment via the production well annulus in an open loop downhole arrangement. The raw water discharged from the turbine is conveyed to a suitable formation for injection via a dual completion well.

  • Patent number: 6047414
Abstract: The present invention provides a combined toilet and stool that may be deployed as a toilet or a stool. The invention includes an interlockable structure of die-cut paperboard. The unitary structure includes a series of abutting sections that may be arranged to form four walls that define an internal bowl. The walls and bowl are covered by an upper section formed from additional abutting sections. The abutting wall sections include interlockable interior and exterior front panels, a rear panel and two angled side panels. The multiple component upper section includes an interlockable interior seat panel, an exterior seat panel and a selectively displaceable covering seat panel. The interior seat panel abuts the top of the rear panel. The exterior seat panel abuts the top of the exterior front panel. The covering seat panel abuts a side of the exterior seat panel. Appropriate perforations are defined between adjacent panels to enable the abutting panels to be appropriately folded for both storage and assembly.
