  • Patent number: 7629713
Abstract: An electromagnetic motor includes a permanent magnet connected to a piston component of the motor and defining a linear reciprocating displacement path; and two electromagnets connected to the cylinder housing that periodically and alternately interact with the permanent magnet. The electromagnets are electrically connected to a power source for their selective activation. The electromagnets magnetically attract the permanent magnet over a respective first portion of the displacement path when un-activated and magnetically repulse the permanent magnet over a respective second portion of the displacement path when momentarily activated by the power source.

  • Patent number: 7250697
Abstract: A linear generator apparatus includes first and second elongate coaxial bodies that are axially movable relative to one another with a reciprocating movement. The first body is axially and freely movable relative to the second body within a predetermined displacement range or free zone. A helical spring connecting to both first and second bodies biases the first body toward the free zone relative to the second body when outside of the free zone. An electrical power generator mounted on both first and second bodies generates power when the first and second bodies axially move relative to one another within the free zone and beyond. The invention also relates to a suspension system for motor vehicle that includes a coil spring and the apparatus in replacement of a conventional shock absorber.

  • Publication number: 20070101717
Abstract: A heat energy reclaim system and method for providing output power from input latent heat energy of a hot source fluid and including means for capturing the latent heat energy from the hot source fluid, that includes an input distribution pipe network for distributing the hot source fluid along a plurality of paths with reduced flow and flow rate, and a respective external heat motor operatively connected to each reduced flow path to provide a portion of the output power. Each motor has shaped piston heads to improve heat transfer between the internal gas and the cylinder walls exposed to the hot source fluid and a cold source fluid, respectively, as well as small internal gas conduits also exposed to the hot source fluid, and other characteristics; therefore increasing the motor and system efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5584743
Abstract: The present invention relates to a toy road scraper having three blade members which are vertically movable between a first and a second limit position. The movement of the blade members is controlled through the instrumentality of cables slidingly engaging flexible sheathings. Each blade member is connected to one such cable, the latter being also connected to a control panel having levers for imparting linear displacements to the cables. The linear displacement of a cable results in a corresponding blade member moving from its first to its second limit position, or vice-versa. Two directional cables are connected to the front pivotable wheels and to directional handles on the control panel for steering the toy road scraper. The control panel is positioned at the rear end of the toy road scraper and at such a height to allow a child using it to stand up, walk and have unlimited access to the controls on the control panel.
