  • Patent number: 7048069
Abstract: An agricultural implement consisting primarily of a towed frame supported on retractable wheels, the frame having a plurality of independently adjustable spindles for setting height and angle of attack for various size rotatable discs. Each disc is staggered to reduce resistance and clogging. Each group of discs further includes descending diameter discs at each end with the angle of attack increasing with each decrease in diameter while spacing between the discs decreases as the diameters are reduced. The implement further including harrow teeth or picks located at strategic points adjacent the discs to ensure uniform soil disruption, the disc assembly being convertible from single gang to double gang assembly and may include conventional harrow teeth sets and or unique soil leveler attachments.

  • Patent number: 6381879
Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming a relatively shallow drainage ditch diagonally across crop rows, the apparatus, drawn or fitted to a tractor, incorporates a rotating cutting disk set semi-vertical and at obtuse angles to the direction of travel. The disk is adjustable in two planes and is driven either by direct drive from the tractor's PTO or by hydraulic motor. The replaceable disk is fitted with slinger plates to insure proper removal of the excavated earth. An adjustable cutting tooth is provided in front of the disk for breaking the soil prior to being cut by the rotating disk. A trailing wheel or foot skid, in conjunction with a flexible upper connection of the three point hitch, is provided to control the cutting depth of the tooth and cutting disk, thereby allowing the tooth and cutting disk to follow the contour of the earth. The apparatus is also mountable to the front of a tractor, if desired, when the disk is driven hydraulically.

  • Patent number: 6167797
Abstract: A transportable, commercial, barbecue cooking apparatus housed in an insulated, conventionally shaped building structure, the apparatus further including a vertical diametrical smoke chamber having an adjacent force draft heat chamber integral therewith, the smoke chamber fitted with sloped, horizontal screens attached to a rotating vertical shaft thereby providing increased visibility, efficient, circulation and improved rendering, the heat chamber being fired with a gas burner and utilizing hardwood saw dust to produce a heavy smoke which is force drafted through a duct into the cooking chamber. The cooker is further provided with onboard hot water tanks for cooking and cleanup and includes provisions for humidity and temperature control. Provisions are made for food boiling, frying and steam cooking capability and includes amenities such as a storage locker, internal oven lighting, smoke blow back fans, and view windows.
