  • Publication number: 20150037128
Abstract: The invention comprises a monolithic magnet or a combination of monolithic magnets with magnetic field domains for diamagnetic levitation of diamagnetic objects wherein the magnetic field pattern, the magnetic field strength and the magnetic field gradient of the magnetic field domains are chosen in such way that levitation of diamagnetic objects is achieved.

  • Patent number: 8725365
Abstract: A method for controlling an automated clutch or an automated transmission or a drive unit in a vehicle is disclosed in which protective measures for the clutch and/or for the transmission and/or for a drive unit is provided by the control system. The protective measures include measures against overheating or wear. When measuring temperature, allowance is made for the air density in the vehicle environment or altitude as compared to sea level.

  • Patent number: 8585546
Abstract: A process for controlling a drive train with an internal combustion engine, a transmission and an automatically actuated brake system. In the event of a defect of the transmission, retardation is effected by means of the automatically actuated brake system in order to avoid impermissibly high speeds in the drive train.

  • Publication number: 20120279821
Abstract: The invention relates to an actuating device for a double clutch with two friction clutches that are actuatable by means of a respective lever system. The actuating device comprises two actuator units for converting a rotary movement carried out by a respective electric motor about an axis of rotation into a linear movement to actuate a friction clutch. To simplify and improve actuating devices of this general type, a respective planetary rolling contact transmission is arranged coaxially with a rotor of the electric motor and driven by the latter. The planetary rolling contact transmission converts the rotary movement into the linear movement using an exclusively mechanical actuating device. The actuator units are arranged to be parallel with respect to their axes of rotation and are received in a common housing.
