  • Patent number: 11319086
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to aligning a taxi-assist camera such that each image frame of real-time video that the camera generates has a standard presentation format. The taxi-assist camera is configured to be mounted on an aircraft and oriented such that each image frame includes both a specific feature of the aircraft and of nearby objects external to the aircraft. The specific feature of the aircraft is detected and a location within the image frame of the specific feature is determined. The determined location within the image frame is compared with a reference location. A transformation operator is generated to transform the image frame such that the specific feature of the aircraft will be located within the image at a location corresponding to the reference location. The transformation operator is then applied to each of the image frames of the real-time video that the camera generates.

  • Patent number: 7475578
Abstract: The present invention features a system and method for operating or operably connecting an American locking cylinder with a Profile mortise lock, wherein the American locking cylinder functions with the Profile mortise lock in place of a Profile locking cylinder. Essentially, the present invention provides a door lock cylinder conversion adapter that converts an American cylinder to be operable with a Profile mortise lock. The door lock cylinder conversion adapter functions to actuate the internal locking mechanism of a Profile mortise lock much the same way a standard Profile locking cylinder would, only with an American locking cylinder providing the means for effectuating the actuation.

  • Patent number: 7188873
Abstract: A convertible door handle system that can be converted for a different handing or operating direction, or converted between handle-high and handle low, or converted between operating and non-operating is disclosed. A method for converting the functional configuration of a door handle system is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5613349
Abstract: A process of manufacturing product packages having a multilayer backing member, a plastic product enclosure adhered to a front layer of the backing member, and a removable panel in a back layer for enclosing ancillary materials. The process includes the steps of printing a plurality of backing member patterns on a sheet of backing member material, applying a heat-resistant coating to back layer portions of the backing members, applying a heat-seal coating to front layer portions of the backing members, cutting the sheet to define individual backing members and the removable panel, and applying adhesive to and folding together the front and back layer portions with the ancillary materials therebetween so as to form individual backing members. A plastic product enclosure and the product may then be heat-sealed to the backing member.

  • Patent number: 5507118
Abstract: A window guard is provided for a window which may be removably mounted in a window frame to protect the window from storms. The window includes a window frame having frame members, two of which have holes formed on inwardly facing surfaces. The window guard includes a board sized to fit within the window frame and a brace or mounting mechanism pivotally mounted on the board which cooperates with the window frame holes to mount the window guard in the frame. The mounting mechanism includes a cross-member pivotally secured to the board and rods telescopingly received in the cross-member. The cross-member is made of two elongate pieces which are pivotally connected and which have blind bores formed in their ends which telescopingly receive the rods. The rods can thus telescope to a position in which they extend from the cross-member into the holes formed in the window frame and be retracted to a position in which they do not extend beyond the edges of the board.

  • Patent number: 4759020
Abstract: A block replicate magnetic bubble memory organization is disclosed in which a number of storage loops are arranged between write and read tracks. Data in the read track is supplied to a deskewing circuit under the control of one section of an EAPROM so that the deskewing circuit outputs one page at a time, where each bit of the page is derived from a different storage loop, to a buffer and error correcting circuit which supplies corrected information to a data processing system as long as only one error bit has occurred on a page. If an error does occur in a page, the processor which has stored in it information relating to all of the used and unused loops of the system, controls another section of the EAPROM so that the defective loop will be exchanged for a good loop after a predetermined number of failures have occurred for the particular bad loop. The write side of the EAPROM is subsequently updated by the processor or remote processor that utilizes the read-out data.

  • Patent number: 4726025
Abstract: A timing generator and verifier is provided in which a PROM stores the timing constants that are employed by the generator. An address counter, which is driven by a clock timer, cycles through an associated portion of the PROM to provide a sequence of output signals which represent timing for a particular mode. If a different mode is selected, the address counter selects a different sequence of output bits. During Normal mode the address counter operates on a cyclic basis driven by a fixed frequency free running master clock. In Verify mode the address counter is stepped by the Host computer. The outputs of the PROM are coupled through a buffer and logic section, where the outputs may be modified before being coupled to an adder which accumulates a checksum based on the outputs of all of the bits for a particular selected timing.
