    Abstract: A cutting press for working plate-shaped workpieces comprises at least one working station in which a workpiece having a working place is supported and in which a part of the workpiece is to be cut out, a device for cutting out the part of the workpiece, and a device for releasing the cutout part of the workpiece from the plane of the workpiece for removing the cutout part from the working station, the releasing device including substantially a structural element which is movable in a working region of the working station in a motorized manner and shaped to release the cutout part from the workpiece.
