  • Patent number: 9989268
Abstract: An assembly for mounting in a wall includes a first tube having a flange at a first end of the first tube, the flange to be secured against an inner wall panel, a first hose-guide adjacent the first end of the first tube; a second tube having a faceplate flange attached to a second end of the second tube, the faceplate flange to be secured against an outer wall panel, a second hose-guide adjacent the second end of the second tube; and a hood attachable to an outer side of the faceplate flange. A first distance between the first hose-guide and an inner periphery of the first tube is greater than a second distance between the second hose-guide and an inner periphery of the second tube so that a hose guided by the hose-guides slopes downwardly as it exits the building through the wall.

  • Publication number: 20070257483
Abstract: A fitting is provided with an integral orientation indicator that can be permanently fixed to or detachable from the fitting. The orientation indicator allows the installer of the fitting to ensure that the fitting, as well as the upstream and downstream parts of the fluid conveying system associated with the fitting, are properly oriented so that liquid will flow in the desired direction. When the fitting is connected to the primary condensate outlet of the drain pan on a central air conditioning unit, the orientation indicator can be used to ensure that liquid will flow out of the drain pan.

  • Publication number: 20050138939
Abstract: A condensate overflow prevention assembly prevents condensate overflow in an air cooling system using a fluid level sensor and a pump activated by the fluid level sensor to pump the condensate away from a drainage system when a blockage occurs in the drainage system.

  • Publication number: 20050138940
Abstract: A clamp assembly for mounting devices such as a condensate over detection and/or prevention mechanism to a drain pan of an air cooling system includes first and second clamp members that are attachable to each other. The first clamp member includes a first engaging portion that engages a first surface of the drain pan, and the second clamp member includes a second engaging portion that engages a second surface of drain pan. The assembly includes a locking mechanism that locks the first and second clamp members to each other so that the pan is clamped between the first and second clamp members.
